Produces several cold-brown hues with warm-tone papers. Higher dilutions (1:20 and 1:40), provide slightly cooler tones and enhanced maximum density.

I tone with it VERY sparingly, say 2 ozs per gallon. If you overdo it you can get a horrible split tone where the highlights stay neutral and the shadows or mid-tones go purple. I'm just trying to slightly warm the paper and get rid of green tone.
I love to use this with warm toned paper for spilt tone results.
