Shopper : Is this used for viewing the old slides and where do you put the slide?Mine is a Pana view 1, but is broken.LIPOT R : of course it is for old slides to wiew the kaiser is a very good one easy to useLIPOT R : i have the panna wiew & the kaiser it is by far a better choice very easy to use

At the price, does the job

My light table burned out, and I needed a quick replacement to view slides. 2x is really too small for this purpose, but for a quick and dirty, it wasn't bad. The bulb is dim and reddish, so NG for color evaluation, but for looking at old slides for quick cataloging, it did the job

if you have a lot of old negatives,you need this. beats looking up at a light and straining your neck.
