Soft side Pouch for handling or travel
The loading of the device can drag on the lens coat or the device not a major problem but still present.
Overall will protect and make carrying easier.

Protect you gear!
This is a nicely made pouch that potects the Manfrotto 393 gimbal head from scratches and dirt whenever it is not in use. The pouch is a perfect fit for the gimbal head when the head is assembled with the "inner U" attached through the uppermost holes. If assembled using any of the other holes the head will be too tall to comfortably close the flap with the velcro tab that is provided. One could always relocate the "inner U" to make the head fit...as most of us are attempting to streamline our workflow, this is counterproductive. When working in the field the assembly/disassembly to make the head fit the pouch is not only time consuming but risks the loss of the friction adjusring washers. If the pouch were two inches taller it would be a sure 5 star ptoduct for my use. As it is I will use it...just not quite as happy as I could have been

Does exactly what it is supposed to.
It is a great way to transport the gimbal head in luggage without getting it tangled up in soft goods.

Tight fit, good protection
It's very tight getting everything in the cover, but it does fit after some pulling and stretching. It is tight enough getting it over the mounting plate clamp hardware that it feels like it'll rip. It doesn't rip though. If it were easier to get on I would have given it 5 stars.
