Good protection for my Sigma 150-600

I wanted protection for my Canon-mount Sigma 150-600 mm Contemporary lens, and this does the trick pretty well.The cover attaches well to the lens hood, and even without the extender piece it covers my lens well from front to back. I've taken it out in the field a couple of times to get used to it and I found the cover adequate for my needs. It takes a few minutes to put it around the camera, but it works well with my lens strap and gives me good access to the camera body. Zooming with the cover on is a little tricky but it works well enough. I shoot handheld 99 percent of the time, and this product met my requirements. I wanted something lightweight with good coverage and quick setup so that if I get caught in the rain, my gear is protected. I suspect the cover would be even better on a tripod. Note: the cover arrives without any instructions. However, LensCoat has a good video on YouTube that helped me figure it out. https://youtu.be/UXwBsCd7-No

Very happy

The LensCoat is as advertised. I like the looks and weight. I will be prepared to shoot in the rain now. Possibly something I may use to shoot wildlife when it isn't raining.

The LensCoat RainCoat Pro (Black) is for the outside shooter who requires excellent protection for his camera/lens combo from the elements - rain, wind, sand, snow and dust. Made from a lightweight poly tricot material, this coat goes on easily with cinch straps and hook & loop closure and provides complete protection. It's held tightly around your lens and no dedicated eyepiece is required for its use. The fold-out arm sleeve that has its own dedicated storage pocket provides full access to your camera's controls.
