The Lenovo IdeaPad Z575 15.6" Notebook Computer (Gunmetal Gray) features a quad-core 1.40GHz AMD Accelerated Processor A6-3400M with a 4MB cache and Turbo Core technology that allows for processor speeds of up to 2.3GHz. With this quad-core CPU, you can quickly and efficiently multitask. This CPU also includes the integrated AMD Radeon HD 6520G Graphics for handling the demanding visuals of computer games, HD movies, graphics applications and more. For viewing games, movies and whatnot, the notebook features a TFT color display with a glossy screen, LED backlighting, a 15.6" screen size and support for full HD at a resolution of 1366 x 768. It also has an aspect ratio of 16:9.
The built-in 6GB of internal DDR3 SDRAM memory facilitates fast multitasking and the hard drive features 750GB of space, ample room to store all your data. The hard disk drive features the SATA 3Gbps interface and spins at 5400rpm. This notebook also features a tray-loading optical drive that can read and burn DVDs or CDs. There's also a 0.3 megapixel web camera, dual 2W stereo speakers and a 5-in-1 card reader slot that supports MMC, MS, MS Pro, SD and XD memory cards.
For connecting external devices, this Z575 is outfitted with three USB 2.0 ports, one eSATA / USB 2.0 combo port, an HDMI port, VGA port, one 3.5mm headphone output jack and one microphone input jack. In terms of wireless or wired communication, the Z575 supports Fast Ethernet and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n wireless.
For navigation and typing, there's a standard notebook sized keyboard with a numeric keypad and a multi-touch touchpad that supports pinching, expansion and circular movements. The 6-cell rechargeable lithium-ion battery lasts up to five hours and the Kensington Lock provides added safety. The other safety features include the VeriFace facial recognition software and OneKey Rescue System software. This notebook runs on the Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) Operating System.
