Muhit r : Is this new or used?MURRAY N : It's brand new, comes sealed in the Lenovo box with all the security tape intact.
TONY G : My thinkpad 11e trackpad feels loose. Just wondering if anyone has this issue. It seems like there's a bit of "travel" between touching it and actually clicking it, maybe 1mm or so, that makes it feel a bit loose. Is this fairly typical? Have you guys noticed this with yours?SIDNEY S : For being fairly typical yes and no - I have two of these & one exhibits the same problem - it's a bit annoying but I'm hesitant to return it to Lenovo as I don't want to pay shipping both ways should they not consider it rising to the level of a defect. Will just put up with it. The other unit's touchpad is quite solid.KIMBER C : Have not had this issue with mine.Zarf 4 : Answer is 'yes and no' - I bought one of these in Dec and the touchpad is solid. Just picked up another one in Feb and the touchpad has the exact condition you described. It is annoying but not enough to return as Lenovo might not consider it a defect and I don't want to get stuck with 2x shipping.OSCAR J : I have not noticed this with mine,but I have not been looking for this condition... ì will keep an eye out and see if there happens to be any looseness. GOOD LOW END NOTEBOOK

I BOUGHT THIS NOTEBOOK FOR MY 5 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER TO WATCH VIDEOS ON. SINCE SHE GOT IT HER MOTHER HAS STOLEN IT FROM HER MOST OF THE TIME. THE TWO OF THEM HAVE BEEN BASHING IT AROUND FOR ALMOST A YEAR NOW AND IT HAS PERFORMED FLAWLESSLY. I MIGHT HAVE TO PICK UP ANOTHER ONE SO THEY STOP FIGHTING OVER THIS ONE!

Good latpop, horrible support

THE GOOD: Laptop is not bad, feels well made, video camera quality is great, screen is bright and sharp, sound is awesome, keyboard has a good feel to it, touch pad and buttons work great, hard disk good size and fast, works great with 4GB RAM, I'll be upgrading to 8GB shortly, didn't expect too much from the CPU but it works fine for surfing and other lowly tasks, Windows 10 works great, it picks up all devices and installs the proper drivers, UEFI boot provides added security, Lenovo support site has all the drivers and more if you need them. THE BAD: Laptop crapped out on me after 8 months, no video or sound when trying to boot, only CPU fan comes on. Called Lenovo, they told me the warranty has expired, found out it starts when Lenovo ships the laptop to the store (Adorama), Lenovo told me to email Lenovo warranty support to have it changed, I've been doing this for the last 4 days, I have yet to receive any emails back from Lenovo warranty support. So much for the 1 year warranty, that's why I cannot recommend Lenovo laptops. Terrible support from Lenovo, so this will be the LAST Lenovo laptop I buy.

Rugged Durability
A rubber bumper around the top cover absorbs the force of side bumps. The corners are 50 percent stronger, to reduce damage when dropped at an angle. The bezel is thicker, to protect the LCD panel. And a stronger rear cover reduces accidental LCD damage. The hinges and brackets have been strengthened, to last 50,000 cycles and to withstand more force to the cover. Reinforced ports and a reduced gap between anchored keys help prevent accidental damage from a bored child's exploring fingers. This is one tough machine.
