Pro's: These filters are large and can be hand-held in a pinch. They are high quality and seem to be truly neutral, even when stacked. Some like Cokin's are not! Con's: They are plastic...so you have to handle them carefully and take care when cleaning them. The only real drawback is the cost! Otherwise, these filters will amp up your photography when used properly! BTW, they can be stacked (one up, one down) to simulate a reverse ND grad. Different combinations will give you different degrees of light stoppage in the overlap regions.
