These are great, the first one was purchased a few years ago. Worked well to organize slides very compactly and good labeling system. Bought two more to continue archiving.

I ordered 3 slide boxes. 2 were in good shape but one had a defective latch and would not open. It cost $14 to return for a replacement so that increased the cost considerably. I had to make my own tabs. Unfortunately I did not find a better product. It did not comfortably hold 750 slides. I found that 500 slides fit comfortably

I have purchased several of these slide storage boxes and for the most part they do what they are supposed to do. They are made of metal with a vacuum molded insert to separate the slides. However, the latch on one of the boxes I bought broke (there is an internal spring that holds it either open or shut), which I found disappointing.

I'm using this file to catalog and protect a collection of Kodak slides I inherited from my parents. These slides were originally stored in bulky aluminum slide magazines or carousel projector rings. As I remove them from their holders, I am digitally scanning them, then organizing them by date in my Logan file. I bought this model, with the styrene plastic insert, on the advice of another reviewer, and am pleased with it's function. It holds a lot of slides in a small space. My only negatives are that the metal could be sturdier, although that would probably increse the cost, and the latch could have been designed better, as it is directly underneath the carry handle. Two latches, one on either side of the handle, would be much better and more secure. All-in-all, it's a good product for archiving precious family slides.

Looking for a solid method to store a large slide collection in well organized safety. This product meets my needs, although the plastic tray insert design could be improved.

The steel case seems sturdy enough ane the lid fits well. It would be nice if it had two latches. It has only one latch which is buried behind the carry handle. The plastic insert which holds the slides is very thin materal, however it seems to do the job. It will hold 750 slides but with a very tight fit. I recommend 720 slides max.

I think these trays are a bit expensive for just a box to hold slides, but they are the best way I've found to organize large collections of slides such as my own.

we have had our slides in this box (maybe different code) but for over 25 years and they are still in great shape. Looking for a few more boxes. We are so excited they make them still.

Logan slide files are the best selling slide files in the US. Each is individually crafted of high grade steel and finished with a durable baked enamel finish. All of them are archival quality. Each comes equipped with a carrying handle and steel latches insuring tight lid closures.
