I have this product for a week now, and I am very happy with it. No Signal dropping or reboot. It covers the whole house without any problem.

Set up this product but needed assistance with Verizon and then Linksys. Verizon was good, but Linksys first told me the item was out of warranty. I explained it was just purchased and she said ok but it would cost $ for support. We even explained it was Linksys refurbished; she again stated it was not under warranty. Finally we asked for a manager and she put me on hold; came back and said she'd help for free THIS ONE TIME! We were then able to finish the set up. This was NOT Adorama's fault and I rate them and the product high - the Linksys support gets a half star!

I bought this to replace an aging DD-WRT wireless G router and a "whatever the cheapest DSL modem on Amazon was at the time". That combo had two single points of failure which manifested a couple times a week. The included software didn't open on either of my Macs (OS too new). The setup software available online worked on one computer, but the other's OS was still too new. On the computer where it worked, it failed to connect to the default SSID for the router. I was able to log in to the router after connecting with ethernet (web console) (192.168.1.1/admin/admin). I found the default wireless password (11111111) and connected manually with the setup software. At that point, it did... nothing. My windows VM didn't have direct access to the computer's wireless adapter, so that was a bust. So I pulled my notes from the first time I argued with Qwest/Centurylink setting up the other modem. I put in the values I was sure about, guessed on a couple others, and left a bunch blank. Success! If you're working in a MacOS environment, I might pass on this device unless you're comfortable in a web console with very little explanation of what certain values do.

The X2000 Wireless-N ADSL2+ Modem Router from Linksys is a stellar simple way to connect to the Internet without having to separately buy a modem and a router. With the X2000, you get two in one. Because this device features a DSL jack, you can directly connect a DSL line to it and connect to the Internet.
As a router, the X2000 provides three LAN ports for wired device connectivity. Its 802.11n Wi-Fi signal is backwards compatible with 802.11b, 802.11g and 802.11a devices. For security, it allows you to encrypt the signal with WPA or WPA2, scan incoming traffic with MAC Address Filtering and setup an SPI firewall. The router can be used with and configured by Windows and Mac systems alike.
