Rare find to make many happy
After losing the original Sonny cap that my VCL-HA07A wide conversion lens came with in a busy European airport, I started my search through all Sony stores for a replacement but to no avail. When finally I got a store advertising as selling such a cap (with words as "ordered" directly from Sony), three days afterwards I was notified that Sony had discontinued this item. So I went on foot through several New York photo stores also without any success, until J&R --although not having this size of cap as well--, courteously recommended me their colleague Adorama, a store that not once has what other phto stores don't have. Not only I got the cap that I wanted, not only I did not pay for the shipping, but I had this cap in my hands in less than a week. So many are in my situation, wrapping their wide lens --Sonny or other-- with cotton or plush custom made little bags and they should know that where Sony lets them down, Adorama is there for them with this rare find. The cap snaps very well on the lens and is not impressed by the agitation in European airports staying there.

I needed a cap that would fit a metal lens cap and this one does.

Excellent and resonably priced
Replacement cap, fits well and with cap leash
will function as well as the original that came
with the lens.

Fills the bill
What can one say about a lens cap? It fits, not too heavy, not too light, it can get lost like the one it replaced and it does what it's supposed to do.
