It works fine
Nothing to get overly excited about, but it works as it should; blocking errant light from the front of the lens, and moderate protection for the front element.

I thought this might be a handy alternative to the plastic hood that came with my lens, and it should be. Unfortunately the rubber tends to grab the inside of any type of case, especially the soft fabric lined cases with velcro-in dividers. This makes it rather difficult to remove the camera without tearing the whole rubber hood right off of the plastic ring that threads into the lens. I don't know if the rubber part was originally glued to the ring, but it's not now! It can go back on, but now it seems to come out of it's groove every time I pop the hood out with one hand. It is a two hand operation to get it back into the groove, this is clearly not convenient. Maybe on a smaller diameter lens it would work better (more space).Oh well, for [$] it's not a huge deal. I'm gonna try some strong glue.

I buy them and i like them
I use this product to conveniently rotate my polorizing screen.
Works very well-works very fast.

Great stuff
I've always preffered rubber hoods over metal they collapse, fairly light weight (a big factor for me as I do alot of nature photos) Well worth the money

Good buy, very practical
Rubber flex makes insertion into case very esy.
External and internal threads make it easy to use filter and lens cap with hood on camera

Great fir the price
Great for the price. Must adjust camcorder out some to not see the lens hood in the view finder.

Works well
These hoods are much more conventient than the fixed hoods. They are cheap, work well but do have to be replaced eventually. I take a lot of pictures and each one lasts several years.

Camera/lens didn't come lens hood. Soft gives extra protection for lens.
