Made of Plastic

Protects lens from stray light but made of plastic so would not protect lens very well. Is too low of a price for a metal lens hood??

77 mm lens hood

This lens hood is good for a single size lens only. I have a canon 10-22mm lens. The lens hood can be seen in the frame at about 16mm and upward. Learned this by trial and error.

Mea Culpa on the purchase

I purchased this item and it does the job it was intended for, but when using it prevents my using the lens cap. My Bad!!!
