I bought this 5 years on a whim. I was not looking for a 3D TV but the price was right. I decided to buy a 3D movie and was stunned with it. From that point on, we have bought all movies in 3D. This has been a very reliable TV and have had no reason to upgrade 5 years later. We did have to replace the screen due to burn in, which is a problem with this particular model. However, there is a screen wash to help with this, which I didn't know at the time. If this is done for 30-45 minutes each week, the screen will last. This screen has lasted 3 years now. Every LG product I buy has been great quality.

What can I say? I love this TV. I waited a long time before buying a high definition TV and I couldn't be more pleased. The screen is reflective, so you see everything in the background, except in darkness, but I can deal with that. One of the boards went out before the warranty was up, but LG was right there, ready to help me. They dispatched a repairman, the TV is fixed, and I am digging blue ray movies once again. Man, they look nice on this TV. Aside from the reflective screen, I give this TV a total thumbs up. Rock on LG!!!!!!

my LG 60" plasma has been super. great color and picture quality. Very easy to use and looks great on my wall. It lacks audio , I had to purchase a sound bar and to use the 3D functions you have to purchase a specific brand of glasses.

Only inputs for sound not a good sound output, HDMI is located directly behind set and set can't be mounted flush to the wall without putting sharp bend in HDMI cable same for ethernet connection..

Though this is our first big screen TV, we have seen many others in our shopping experience and those owned by our friends and neighbors. This product exceeds the performance, and picture quality of others we have looked at. The only drawback that I can mention is that the instruction manual and DVD needs to be in black and white, not grey and white, for easier reading. Some of the information I am looking for can be hard to find and even the tech service personnel could not tell me what size bolt is needed to anchor a safety cable to the back of the TV.

We LOVE this TV. The 3D is absolutely mindblowing and the picture is fabulous. The only downside is the mirror reflection of the screen, its pretty bad when they windows are open. But after you watch it for about 5 minutes the picture is so good you don't even notice it. Its incredibly user friendly as well. Great buy!!

Fantastic picture - ease in setting up and operation - still finding more features that are simply amazing. Also the the slim sleek frame seems to maximize the picture even more. This tv is amazing from the 3D to the wifi options I am still discovering new things. It was easy to set up to make sure that the picture and sound were optimal. We are enjoying the vivid colors including the true black, which is lacking in some tvs. I am very glad that we purchased this set and would recommend it to anyone.

TV is great. Only issues i have are the reflections that distract us and the lack of availability of the 3D glasses. I also hope that the glasses come down to the price of others as this is a great tv.

I started out researching LED, LCD and Plasma TVs to replace a 12 year rear projection TV for my basement. After visiting many stores and viewing countless TVs, including the TOP NAME higher end brands that advertise everywhere, I was sold by the fact that this TV competes extremely well in features and quality against those higher end sets, but at a much lower price point. I decided to purchase this plasma TV from LG. The features and quality of this television are outstanding! The TV is very easy to set-up, very easy to navigate through the menus and easy to select any picture setting. The 3D quality is outstanding. Using the AG-S250 3D Glasses, I watched a football game on ESPN3D and was truly blown away by the picture quality! I have this TV connected to a LG BD-650 Blue-ray Player and my granddaughter and I have watched "Gnome and Juliet" and "Tangled" and have been truly amazed by the 3D experience! I can't wait to experience additional movie titles in 3D! Regular HD programming through DIRECTV looks outstanding also! I would highly recommend this TV versus any LCD / LED higher end set on the market today!

I was excited about the purchase of this tv from the beginning because of the great deal I received on it. I took it out of the box and it was very easy to setup, had it up and running in 10 min. The image quality blew me away from the start. This is the single best TV I have ever owned and I am so happy with it. The only draw back to me is the sound quality. My family loves to play Rockband on the PS3 and the volume is .... well, not the best. Nor is the clarity. But I bought it for the display so I can't hold it against them too much, especially when you factor in the price. I will be adding a digital surround system to complete the system and I will be in A/V heaven. I would recommend this unit to anyone that want's a top of the line image at the middle of the line price point. As long as it's a component TV rather than a stand-alone, you will be 100% satisfied! My Wife and I have had this set for a week now and love it. It was a huge improvement from the rear projection that we had before it. The LG fit right in and connected right up to our home theater that we have. The Picture Wizard was a big help as it let me set the picture up for the set in our room with no issues at all. We are using this set in a room that had very little light reflection so theirs no problem there, but I will say with the lights on or off, the picture is amazing. HD programs look better than we have ever seen in here and the Blue Ray play back is tops...

We love this TV, The only thing we don't like about it is the 3D glasses. they shut off after about 15 mins if their is no head movement. Pretty annoying that you have to turn on your glasses every 15 mins when you are watching a movie!!! Please solve this problem and you will have a great Tv. Would not recomend this TV BECAUSE OF THIS REASON!!!!

I started out shopping for a plasma made by one of two different brands as I was told they were better. When I saw this TV that was bigger, more features and a lower price ... I paused to do some research. It turns out this TV competes with those other brands' higher end models and does well. After getting a killer deal at HHGregg, I take it home and I am blown away! Football looks amazing, 3D games and movies are amazing, even regular old tv shows look great! Thanks LG, you rock!

I have recently purchased this item and so far it exceeds my expectations. I originally was looking at Samsung but after reviewing this tv and getting it, Samsung has nothing to offer better than this. The picture on this TV is superior. Now when I store shop and see all the other TV's playing including Samsung and LED's, I have yet to see one that matches the picture quality of the one I got. And the price is a steal!!! Although I only had this TV 3 weeks I am still cautious but....LG you did it again. Great product, great price. And for those who don't think plasma is good at elevation I live 4,600 feet, no buzz or effects!!
