Bought it brand new more than 3 years ago. Have been using it and here is my feeling about it, after much tweaking and playing around to optimize it etc. First of all....i am not a gamer. But i do look at my monitor for more than 8 hours a day. So, i have a pretty good idea of what a good monitor should do. This is ok monitor for the price, but nothing great (like apple or samsung). There is some bleeding of light but barely noticable near edges. Also, the anti-glare does not do a good job. There is vague haze of white even in black background (but perhaps this is due to IPS technology - i don't know how bad the other IPS monitors have this haze). Overall, it was usable for lot of web surfing and reading etc. Colors are good, but i would not rate it excellent. The color gamut and brightness are in the medium level category, going by 2018 technology status. I am a picky computer person; so this should be quite satisfactory for an average user i think. Hence the 3 stars.

Monitor has worked as expected, has a nice display and was a good value at the price. Nothing exceptional simply a solid performer doing just what it should.

I've owned this monitor for several months and couldn't be happier with the product. The packaging and assembly of the monitor was great and hassle free. The large screen and matte display makes using this monitor in a room that receives natural sunlight a great choice since there is very minimal glare. The response time and the deep color range (especially black) of the monitor makes it a great choice for gaming as well. When using work applications, the larger size gives you more area to do your work, which is great. For example, this monitor is large enough to let you use 2 pages side-by-side in your favorite word processing application. I recommend this product for those who are looking for a great price/performance ratio.

I been using this monitor for several months, I can compare with others and I found that the color contrast is the best compared to others. Right now I am happy and I hope this monitor will last (it is using leds, which compared to the cold plasma used by the older generation will allow to do so

Have had it for almost two years. Looks great and all but when a dark scene comes on the monitor makes it even darker so it’s impossible to watch dark movies or play dark games.

Searched for a 27" monitor to replace an older unit, and came across the LG model at what I thought was a super price. I read the specs and found the details to be compatible with my home office needs. After an easy install I realized that I got more than my money's worth from this product. Dollar for dollar? The unit can't be beat!

Very bright with great colors. Just what I needed to edit photos. I had a Viewsonic and it was OK, but had a darkened spot in the middle of it. Made it hard to edit on it.

I did a search on the sites I use for purchasing on the Web for 27" IPS Panel monitors. I was about to settle on another brand when I saw this model listed at Fry's. LG was my first choice based on price and quality. This is my 3rd LG monitor. My other two are on my wife's PC. The price for this one at Fry's beat all others which pleased me greatly since this is the one I originally had wanted but was more than I wanted to pay at the other sites. Very happy with my purchase. I use it in a dual panel setup with another monitor. This one looks better than the other monitor I use (it is NOT an IPS Panel).

I recently purchased this display and am satisfied with the performance. I read a couple of poor reviews about the contrast constantly correcting itself and the viewing angles not being good, but I have no issues at all and love the fact that viewing my photos, etc is so much easier. Additionally, I am able to connect my laptop via HDMI (desktop is VGA) and can easily switch between the two computers with the Input selection.
