STEVE W : How would I add speakers to this monitor? I didn't see a note about audio output jacks.WILLIAM H : You can add them to your computer, that's what I have them hooked up on.NGAI T : There is no speaker for this monitor. You have to use the audio jack to connect a external speakers.JASON M : There is an audio out 3.5mm that you could hook up to. Of course you could always hook the speakers up to the computer directly.
Shopper : Is this VGA compatible? The photo shows a d-sub but the description says dual hdmi?ANATOLIY V : 2 x HDMI and 1 x D-SDUB/VGABRIAN D : Yes, the monitor is VGA compliant. It does have a 15-pin d-sub jack for connection to a VGA port on a computer. The monitor does also have dual cdmi ports.WAI M : Yes, that's how I have it hooked up right now.TING L : It has 2 hdmi and 1 d-sub inputs.ANJUN L : In may case, it is compatible.

What is the purpose of this review? Before I bought this I checked the reviews from an year ago and customer complaints were: the door is slamming when it close and ice maker is very very slow. I thought after an year LG might fixed it. Surprisingly still same. Does LG follow the reviews and do any midi?????? Email me a response please

Nice Monitor!

My other monitor was much smaller and sometimes the colors were off. Absolutely love this one. Only wish I would have purchased it sooner!

Unhappy!

Monitor started to dim by itself after 6 months of work. When I tried to send it to service center my lg.com account was inaccessible. So as a result I could not contact warranty. But when my warranty finished it started to work again, but it was late as it expired.

Everything I could ask for in a monitor.

27 inches, Dual HDMI, 5 ms input lag, IPS panel, durable, this monitor is amazing and meets every expectation. The only problem I could point out is a wobbly stand, but since I don't really bump around a lot or touch the monitor unless I'm cleaning it doesn't bother me at all. 5 Stars.

Good but not great

Decent low end IPS. The colors require a little tweaking out of the box. I have a 1900x1200 24" screen which makes text appear crisper because this is 1900x1080 on a 27", but the colors are better on the IPS. I'm only using this for office work, so can't say how it performs for gaming, but from the specs it should do just fine. Pros: Plenty bright enough Good viewing angle 2 HDMI connection Colors seems good, did require tweaking Cons: A very standard bezel, this is by no means narrow. The white power light blinks incessantly when on standby. No DVI connection Have to push the power button, then push again and hold to turn off. A real pain to just having a single one push power button.

I use this monitor with a mac mini and use this mostly for searching the web. I wish the monitor would have a simpler power off.
