excellent widescreen monitor for office

I needed more screen space for office work. I have 2 monitors and still needed more space on my screen. The widescreen monitor allowed me to have 2 windows open on one monitor which was like having an additional monitor

Great for gaming

I've had this monitor for a while now, probably 2 or 3 years. It's excellent in general but shines in gaming. Brightness is great as well. I run the monitor on G-sync compatible and I game absolutely smoothly with now screen tearing whatsoever. Colours are great as well and the size of the monitor is just perfect for a small\medium sized desk.

Lots of real estate

Great Picture, lots of screen space. Using HDMI, sometimes it takes a second or two for the sound to start.

Satisfied user

I use this monitor with a Dell Alienware Laptop and bought it primarily to enhance my flight simulator experience. It provides a great wide screen and has had not operational issues.

Freesync

Great monitor. I enjoy the ultrawide aspect ratio. Freesync works well. Range is from like 48 to 75hz, which is right where I want to be while gaming. Vesa mount is a plus as I have used my own desk mount.

great low cost ultra wide screen ips monitor

I purchase one and loved it so much, I bought a second one. I use the monitors for photo editing, gaming, everyday business's use. I used spyder monkey to calibrate both and they are spot on.

No complaints

The monitor works great. I don't much like the stand, but it's not awful. It's really nice having the extra horizontal space. I also like being able to display two sources side-by-side. I kinda wish I had bought the bigger version, though. This is about the same height as my 1080p 23" monitor (but wider.

Massive Frame Skipping

The monitor is great at 60hz but when freesync is enabled at 75hz there is frame skipping making me dizzy in games

Great price, perfect size, easy to use

I've used this for three months and it's been perfect so far. Most of my day is spent switching between Excel, SPSS, Dreamweaver, and InDesign. The width is perfect for having two programs open at the same time, and it's just tall enough that I don't have to scan up or down to see whatever window I'm in. Setup was a breeze, and controlling it through the joystick is simple. It switches easily between OSX and Windows. The only quibble I have is that there's no tilt, but I didn't expect perfection at the price I paid. As it is, it's pretty close.

Nice Price, Great Monitor

Love it. After purchasing this monitor, I took a quick inventory and most of my computer parts are LG. That says a lot.

4k and widescreen.

Ive never had a desktop before, works sorta fine with the Mac mini, speakers on monitor don't sync up w speakers on Mac mini. It works well as an alternative to dual monitors for a little desktop.

Wonderful graphics

I was hesitant to purchase a monitor from LG as I had not known they made them. I was very pleasantly surprised at the details I am able to see while playing computer games. I would certainly buy this again; and would recommend it to friends.

Nice size, good color

I have owned the 29UM67-p for 5-6 months now. Works well with my EVGA Geforce GTX 970 graphics card. The games I play are SO huge now. Definetly have to get use to being "close" to this monitor. The split screen works well too.

Awesome Monitor

This monitor is great and a perfect ultrawide for people wanting to try the 21:9 aspect ratio but have a tight budget, or PC gamers that don't have all to powerful gaming rigs (a more or less modern 4Gb GPU should do it I recommend a R9 380 4Gb) but still want to run games at a 21:9 aspect ratio. For a 5ms response time panel it quite snappy with a very low input lag. The picture quality is great and comes with very decent presets. The only gripe I have is with the monitor's stand, while very good at hiding cables, it can only tilt, and the height can be adjusted between 2 presets (which are 2.5cm apart), but it is VESA compatible so you can mount it on your own monitor mount. But with all that said and done it's an absolutely great monitor for the price and I highly recommend it.

Super vibrant and beautiful

Definitely a bit pricey for the resolution (IPS 1440p monitors are available at a lower price), but the color accuracy and wide aspect ratio make this monitor worth it in my opinion. My only real wish is for the stand to have height adjust, but that is available on the business model if you don't care about the higher refresh rate.

Best monitor I could find for my needs and money.

Considering features, screen size, design, quality, and price, It was the best monitor I could find at the time, and possibly still is. I'm very happy with this purchase. Using it primarily for gaming (racing sims) and it makes a big difference comparing to 24" I've used previously. With the latest ATI driver and Windows 10 OS Freesync works fine, but even without it monitor works at 75Hz refresh rate which is good for gaming.

Best monitor hands down for gaming and movie watch

I came from a BENQ RL2455HM Gaming Monitor and while the MS response time isn't as low as on the BENQ, with Dynamic Action Sync (DAS) turned on on the LG, I can hardly tell the difference. The colors are also amazing of course going from a TN Panel to an IPS Panel, which makes movie watching and gaming a great treat. I don't have a freesync enabled GPU yet (MSI R9-280X), but you can still turn it on in the monitor settings to take advantage of the 75 HZ Maximum Refresh rate. Even without a freesync enabled GPU, I somehow experience less tearing in games compared to my old BENQ. This most likely as a result of going from 1920x1080 to 2560x1080 resolution driving less frames overall, but my GPU can still drive games in high and ultra with no issues. Since it's 29 Inch Monitor as oposed to 34 Inches, the pixel density is just right so I don't notice any individual pixels. 2560x1080 is an amazing resolution for games that support it, most FPS games do. And of course, movies in general will appear with zero black bars. TV shows, however, will show black bars on the side, which doesn't bother me all that much. Having a nice IPS panel makes the viewing experience well worth it.

Bright, clear, and expansive

I've had it a few weeks now and use it mostly for my small business needs and , of course, internet. Thus far I am very pleased with this unit. It is sharp, colors are great and ,for my purposes, there is no perceptible screen lag.

Great Ultra Widescreen experience

This is my first IPS panel and my first ultra-wide monitor. I enjoy the greater amount of screen real estate that the ultra wide resolution offers. The IPS panel has also been a pleasant surprise and is definitely an upgrade from my previous LCD monitor. The one drawback I see is that there is a small adjustment coming from a 27" widescreen monitor to the 29" ultra wide, as you lose a great deal of screen height. Given the choice, I would have opted for the bigger model ultra wide.

Freesync
FreeSync engineered into 29UM67 can do what it does best it eliminates tearing and stuttering that occur from the difference between a graphic card's frame rate and monitor's refresh rate. With FreeSync, you will not settle for anything less than seamless movements in 3D MMORPG ever again. It usually requires more than a nice monitor to fully enjoy 3D games with high-level specifications. When using the 21:9 UltraWide Monitor equipped with FreeSync, you no longer need to upgrade your graphic card to solve this mismatch issue and enjoy higher, heavy-duty games without going through hassles.

UltraWide 21:9
The UltraWide 21:9 aspect ratio makes movies and games more immersive than ever. Need to get some work done, too? All of that UltraWide real estate makes it easy to view multiple documents at the same time, so you don't need to flip back and forth between them.

Dynamic Action Sync
Minimize input lag with Dynamic Action Sync so you can catch every single moment in real-time.

Black Stabilizer

Cinema Screen Monitor and Stereo Speakers
The striking design of the LG Cinema Screen incorporates an ultra narrow bezel, so virtually all you see is picture. The viewing experience is more immersive for your favorite movies and games. In addition, the UM67 series features the convenience of 7Wx2 built-in stereo speakers, so you can enjoy powerful sound output audio with your video without the need to connect any external speakers.

SRGB 99%
sRGB is the standard color space of ideal color reproduction. So, with over 99% coverage of the sRGB spectrum, this LG monitor is a great solution for professional photographers, graphic designers or anyone looking for highly accurate color.

Flicker Safe
New dimming technology is applied to minimize the flicker level that may cause eye fatigue. With almost zero flicker technology, looking at your computer screen for longer periods of time is more comfortable.
