This LG was purchased more for it's size then style. Needed it to fit into an old non-working fire place, it fits perfect! The price performance and ease of use just happened to be all a bonus. The picture with true motion is grate.

We researched customer satisfaction and quality ratings by unbiased third parties before deciding to purchase the LG LED TV. We had also decided on the 37"-42" as the perfect range for our viewing distance and other limitations. We could not be happier than we are with this purchase. Visitors and family members who have recently purchased other brand TVs continually marvel at the picture quality, sound, and sharpness of high speed sports action. This TV gives us a beautiful picture even though we cannot receive the HD signals where we live. We must use satellite service but our trees block out the HD satellites. We are also very pleased with the LG LHB335 Blue Ray surround sound system. We are looking forward to purchasing another LG TV in the near future.

Bought this LED set because of its extremely thin size and good reputation. Really lived up to expectations. Picture is incredible --- sharp, bright, vivid. Only negative is menu which is a little confusing. For example, setting the timer takes several steps. It is easier on many other sets.

I bought this tv because I needed to upgrade from my old tv. It is in my room and it works very well, I have had it for almost 3 months now and im still impresed on how good this tv is. It has an excelent picture and the sound quality isnt bad like other reviewers say. I would really recomend this tv to anyone. I love it

I just recently bought this LCD/LED TV. I am impressed with the picture, ease of use and the 120 hz refresh rate is top notch. The one thing I do have a problem with is the HDMI. There are 4 ports for HDMI, and I tried to hook up a DVD player to it and I'd get picture but no sound. Come to find out that you need HDMI cables that support 13 to 15 gbps. This is not written anywhere in the TV's user manual. Which it should be. Now maybe some other person might know something about this and if so please let other people know the solution. (Including Myself!)

Our 37L#5300 had a panel defect - a foorbal shaped white ghost in the center that was visible when the background was dark. Repair people were sent out to look at it, ordered a new panel, brough the new panel in (wrong size); then took the panel back to the repair shop. The day they returned the fixed panel, LG called and said they would replace the TV with a new one - this is about two months after the initial call for repair! However, once fixed, we have been very pleased with the TV, and opurchased anoth one for another room.

I bought this 37LE5300 TV to fit our cabinet, and the LG Blu-ray home theater system LHB336. Both are great, but I bought the same brand to get away from multiple remotes. The SMART TV feature does work - the TV and home theater work very well together, BUT when first turned on, you still need both remotes and to tell them they are connected... Very annoying.

The best thing about this TV is it's ability to upscale standard def to a great picture. I've seen a lot of TV's fail at this. My only complaint is after a scan of channels the way it groups them. Makes some what of a pain that I can't exclude over the air station when hooked up to cable. Not a big deal since I have a cable box but might be an issue for those who don't.

So far i can find nothing wrong with the tv. The picture is amazing and when hooked up to a blue ray player it seems as if it pops out of the screen with action. The 37 inch seems perfect for most size rooms right now its in my bedroom but i could easy see it fitting in a family room.

Purchased my second LG TV. The first was a 47" LCD last year, very happy with purchase. Purchased a 37" LED LCD after looking at the major brands. Chose LG again. So far, after 1 week, very happy, good picture good quality.

Thsi is a good value for the dollar, the only issue is the lack of audio out options. No analog audio out with the exception of the headphone jack. Also according to the manual, there should be "speaker out" jacks. My unit does not have this option. This is what kept me from rating this unit with 5 stars!

4 stars overall for this TV. Excellent picture once you get it set to your preferences. The Auto Volume setting doesn't seem to be very effective. The pictorial menu is a nice touch but some of the sub menus could be clearer. Sound from the TV speakers is OK but this set needs to be hooked up to an audio system to get the benefits of surround sound. Very easy to set up on the stand and when linked with an LG Blu Ray player via an HDMI cable the two devices communicate seamlessly and allow you to access various Internet services, including Netflix which is a great feature.

We wanted a 37" 1080p 120Hz LED/LCD and as far as I know this is the only one out there. All those factors combine to give this TV an amazing picture quality. (Think about it - 1080p spread across a slightly smaller screen makes it that much clearer.) LED instead of flourescent backlighting makes a big difference. There are also about a bazzillion display settings you can tweak to get the picture tuned to your exact preferences. My only complaint is that it lacks analog stereo outputs, so I had to purchase a DAT to connect the TV to our older stereo. Further, the optical digital audio output on our unit didn't work upon delivery, but LG has since replaced the board, and all is well.
