My TV went dead 2 months after the warranty ended and LG refused to help me. I ended trashing the worse TV I have ever purchased. I am a 70 year old Army Veteran and I said to my wife that on the years that I have left I will never purchase another LG product.

I really like this TV and love the image quality. The soap opera effect which is common with many widescreen LCD TVs is distracting at times. I don't know if other options in the same price range are better but it's worth checking them out before buying.

This TV was purchased to serve as a "large screen" monitor for various portions of an IP Network. Secondary use is for the TV portion. It functions perfectly in both capacities. For the Network monitoring, we have it connected to a workstation using a wireless video feed. The resolution is great for viewing "across the room" icons and details of the network. The TV portion is fantastic - basic cable provides both standard and HD channels that display well.

The clarity is so visually life-like and clean. The set-up and operational features are very easy to navigate. The audio/stereo soundis also outstanding.From Blu-ray Movies to sunday Football,the fast action motion is never a blur.I would give the Product Ratings a solid 5 stars.

I purchased this television on 12 21, 2010, and have never once had any negatives about its performance. Right out of the box it was flawless, using the preconfigured settings on default. After I became familiar with all of the options for pictures, sound etc, I customized it for my environment, and again it performed flawlessly. This is the first LG televsion I have owned, but certainly won't be the last. The internet capabilities further enhanced my experience, and could not have been easier to configure with my DSL MODEM. I stream entertainment frequently and have never had a glitch. I am currently in the market for one of the latest LG SMART Televisions, and if the one I currently own is an indication of what I can expect from the next generation, I know I will be impressed and very happy with my purchase. Way to go LG, wish more corporations had the same foresight on their products.

We've had this LG LED LCD TV for a little over a year, and it's fantastic, for the most part. When we purchased it, we compared the picture to all of the other available similar sized pictures, and this one stood out, by far, as the best. The clarity and brightness is unmatched by similar sets. True, it did cost a bit more than the other similar sized set, but IMO, it was worth it. The only feature that I'm not extremely impressed with is the sound quality. It has a numbered range for volume from 1 - 100, and when the volume level exceeds 30 or so, it begins to sound a bit distorted. Since the speakers are very small and on the back of the set, I'm sure this is why. Overall, I'm very happy with this set, so far, though.

I had this HDTV for about 8 months. It has been a steady performer. Screen is bright and good contrast between colors, black & white. I like all of its features even-though I haven't used some of them. But I know its there if needed. However, Im disappointed with the sound quality of the TV speakers. You must connect to ext sound device to enjoy it. Also Im not happy about the accuracy of pixel/resolution. When I hook up my laptop thro HDMI, the edges of text/objects are not sharp. My brother's 2 year old plasma looks better on that aspect. Overall Im happy with the product, its fast and responsive for games and movies. The features are a bonus.

Got this for the internet connected services and it was incredibly easy to setup and calibrate with Picture Wizard thing. We constantly watch Netflix on the set but wish you could browse netflix titles directly on the screen without the need for editing the queue on the computer.

Love everything about this TV. I have an old receiver/amp that doesn't have optical port, so if there were anything I would change about this TV would be to have analog audio outs, rather than just optical. Small stuff.

I like the sleek, thin LED look, the swivel stand, the comfortable remote which lights up, the beautiful HD picture!, seeing local weather on Netcast, and streaming TV shows from my computer (connected to TV with HDMI cable). The sound is very good for some TV shows, but tinny for others, since the speakers are on the TV's back, so I may purchase a sound bar or home theater system. I strongly recommend this TV.

This is the best picture quality of any Tv I have ever owned.I also have a 47 In LG LCD that I thought was the best, until I got this one. Love the internet access, already had a Netflix account so it's great being able to watch movies in HD instead of on my computer. I found the set-up to be easy and had no problem accessing the internet connection. Also being able to buy the TV on HSN was great- and it was shipped straight to my house. Couldn't ask for a better product!

While I agree with most of the reviewers on the quality, ease of setup, and design style, the audio or sound on my TV could be better. When changing channels, the sound varies from high to low, even within the same channel. I'm wondering if this is a quirk on my specific tv, or if anyone else experiences this anomaly. Otherwise, it is a good tv and would recommend it to anyone at the price I purchased it.

First, Adorama was excellent. TV showed up VERY fast, much faster than expected. The TV is great. Some LED leakage (i.e. when the screen is completely black) but the reality is you have to be pretty picky to notice. The clarity of this TV is excellent, as is the color. I also use it as a PC monitor and it's very good as well.
