I love this TV
A really fine picture. With 240 Hz...all the games look sosmooth...and no flicker. LG puts out a good looking Product. The only downside is the amount of glare on the screen......but....That can be fixed if you dont have open windows.Great sound...and great picture. Bought this for my son....he's a tech head...and he loves it.

Great TV, Great Price!!
[...] in great shape. It was easy to set up, and the picture quality out of the box is great. The sound that comes out of this TV is good, with several variables for sound and picture. This is our first HDTV. We haven't bought a blu-ray player as of yet, but I can't wait to watch some movies on this unit. Great looking TV, and I've had no issues with the glare that others have mentioned. The only thing I don't like about it is some of the standard definition channels aren't as sharp as they could be.

Great product, [...]
We originally purchased the 47 inch SL80 and liked it so much we purchased the 42 inch model for a bedroom. We love the styling of the TV, the picture and sound quality are wonderful! We've had the 47 inch SL 80 for about a year now and the 42 inch model for over a month and we have no complaints as of yet. I have read some comments on the increased glare from the glass front of this model, but, I haven't had any problems with glare, even in a bright living. I would definitely recommend this TV [...]

I bought this TV after doing months of research. My plan was to purchase another brand until I came across this set. In addition I was going to buy a 40" based on the size of my room. Since this TV isn't framed with the big shiny frame but has about a 1" "seamless" frame the measurements were very close to the 40" set. The picture is awesome and I haven't even hooked it up to HD yet. Currently I am running it off of a DVR plus, and it works fine until my HD equipment arrives. For now I am happy with the standard satelite hook up.
I bought my set on sale on a day when I went to pick up the other brand. They both had the same features except my LG has 240Hz while the other set had 120Hz. Aside from that, both of them have the same features. In my opinion this TV has a LOT OF BANG for your buck!

Just Sweet
Very fast 2.2ms - great for watching racing and sports. Good set for gaming as well.
