I purchased this TV around superbowl time in 2012 and at the time it was a higher priced TV for 120Hz refresh rate. I was very happy with the 3 HDMI inputs, the optical audio output, and other inputs/outputs that it has. The swivel stand is one of the features that drew me to the TV as it provides more flexibility if we decided to move the TV from room to room over time. TV has worked perfectly for more than 3 years now. The only real negative (for all LG products I own) is the limited number of applications (netflix, Vudu, etc). Wish there were more options like are available on some gaming systems like the Wii U. Highly recommend this TV!

I love my LG TV have gotten so many compliments about the quality of the picture. If I decide to add another tv, it will be an LG TV! I can't say enough about the beautiful picture this tv displays. In shopping for a tv, and I did a lot of research in making my choice, LG TV by far had the best picture quality.

I did not expect how well this Smart LED TV could work. It has a great picture quality as well as the other options like networking, widgets, connections to Netflix and others, etc.

I have owned the 47LE5400 LG led tv for just over a year. Beside a slow start up time and having to view the LG logo it was ok. That is until I went away for a week and upon returning found that my TV had picture and no sound. Having a TV set that is less that 2 years old and it breaks does me no good at all. I had turned off the serge protector so there was no electricity going to the unit. So, there was no power surge.

would be a nice tv if the hdmi ports did not fail. bought tv from newegg, hdmi was defective from the start. main board replaced under LG warranty. Just now little over a year later, hdmi ports failed. everything else works, but no hdmi port works, screen shows no signal.

We purchased this LG LED TV in Oct, 2010. We have been extremely pleased with the quality of the product, crispness of the picture and overall performance of this TV. Good TV, but lacks brightness and complicated menu. Lacks WIFI connect and needs additional accessories. When connected to cable and switching channels it makes a click noise everytime which is horrible. Certainly product needs some improvement.

Had this TV for over a year, and it still is as awesome as the day it left the box. The picture is razor sharp, and I have yet to see any evidence of ghosting while playing games or watching movies. There is some slight blooming that can be noticed if you pay attention during very dark scenes, but not enough to get angry about.

I have had no problems from the TV and watch it every day. Great picture quality, sometimes feels like watching out a window instead of watching TV.

For overall viewing experience, nothing beats this TV. Picture and sound quality are excellent. Remote control navigation is also very easy. Quality and value usually do not go hand in hand, but I believe they do in this case.

Last November, I bought two LG TV's ... the 47 inch was hung over my fireplace...the 32 inch stands on my hutch in the bedroom... I am extremely pleased with the quality of the picture & sound on both sets... I have not hesitated to recommend LG products to friends & family

This HDTV is the BOMB!!!! The picture is unbelievable. So easy to hook up and understand settings( even if you don't know a thing about advance settings, there is auto set up you just answer some questions about how the picture looks and it auto sets to your settings.

I bought this TV earlier this year got a great deal on it and love it. I have own many LG TVs and will not convert to any other brand. I wish there were more features on the TV and the updates would add more but other than that i love the fact i can digitize my whole video collection and run it of a hard drive plugged directly into the TV. The ultra thin design makes it look sleek on my wall with the slim wall mount.

A friend was buying a smaller set of this model which got us to looking and we bought the 42" first. We were so impressed with the quality of the LG we traded it in for a 47" and so happy we did. There's nothing not to like about the LG minus the usual LED LCD audio quality of all sets which was resolved using an optical digital audio connect to a nice sound bar. Combo is beautiful! So realistic and absolutely clear on HD channels.

Although this was my first TV, I researched a lot before deciding to buy this one. PROS: The quality is very good for the price and is very easy to use for any TV buyer. The TV also comes with presets for video watching so that you can skip adjusting color schemes and brightness changes. The features of this TV are excellent in its widgets that lets you watch netflix, youtube and other online streaming websites. This TV also comes with clearvoice tech. which should be standard on all TVs. This allows voice volume to be increased without increasing entire sound volume which helps aid in watching movies and shows! CONS: One thing that bothered me was that it lacked minor things it said was included; one being the auto off with no signal (TV would stay on for hours). Overall, the value of this is great and I would definitely consider buying another LG in the future

This has been an excellent HD television. Everything has worked flawless. Easy set-up with all the cables you'll need plus more. I'm really getting a lot of use out of all the inputs. The USB inputs on the side are so handy for pictures. When connected to the internet, firmware updates are seamless. The NetCast (eg You-tube) capability provides almost endless viewing possibilities. I can even ebay right from my living room tv using the online widgets. I wanted to wall mount this and almost did but the room just didn't fit it right. This TV in our living room was a BIG worry at first due to tipping over (two kids under 5), but it been very sturdy once in its place. This tv has not let me down yet, and I would highly recommend it
