I’ve owned this tv since it came out. Still a great picture but the audio is really bad. Not a problem with the surround sound but sometimes you just watch the news. I guess it’s the grills vibrating and I can’t seem to fix them.

I purchased this tv because it was advertised as a smart tv with apps such as Netflix and tru motion.i had the tv a few years before I was able to connect it to my network ( it was too far from my router & I didn't know how to get this problem resolved at the time). This tv has no apps and the true motion isn't adjustable. Although the picture great is great, I could have purchased many tv's for a lower price than I paid for this one, if I had wanted a non- smart tv without apps. The tv is now discontinued and rightly so because imo it's obsolete.

I bought this TV on sale and let me tell you that i was amazed with the 3d function and the self calibration wizard the sound bar sounds great too and has a powerful sound the only thing that i could say bad is that i connected it to the internet and until now No Updates were available...

This television is far superior to the 720p plasma it replaces. The price would have been reasonable for a non-3D television. The picture is sharp and clear. 3D playback of a 3D dvd is quite exciting. 2D to 3D conversion isn't bad either.

Big tv with 3D. I am having some trouble with adjusting the resolution on the screen but its pretty good overall, can look amazing at times when you get everything perfect. For the price its a great value.

The TV itself is very nice. The picture is very good for an LCD TV. The color is fairly accurate and the definition is good when at HD resolutions. The sound bar that came with it is useless. The sound from the TV is about a 4 on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being best. The sound bar hardly makes it any better, these is no bass to speak of and the volume is just not enough. The features of the TV are good, but could have a few more inputs, like at least two more composite video/audio inputs and one more HDMI. I did not really consider how many inputs it had when I bought it, but. A video switch fills in the need for more composite ports. The stero video is amazing and works very well with my stereographic camera. Unfortunately it does not play the stereographic video the camera can take. It does let one view the videos if the camera supplies an HDMI video signal. I went from a 27inch CRT ( Cathode Ray Tube, old school TV to this 47 inch. It is taking some effort to get used to the giant people I see on the news. I guess this model has been phased out already as I do not see them on the shelf after only 3 months. But if it is on clearance it is a good buy. Count your inputs needed, and put the sound bar on EBay to help pay for the TV.

Every time the grandchildren came by in the past they would ask us if our old 30" TV was the biggest TV we had, and until March of this year we had to say yes! But now with our new LG 47"TV we start and end each day with the pleasant view of the new screen. The sound bar also gave the added feature that we needed. We've watched DVD's and 3D movies with no problems. I would definitely recommend this LG TV to others!

Simply Amazing sums up this product. LG has went far beyond anything I have ever experienced in a television. The quality of the build, the customization options built into the television simply blue my mind. I also love that it was bundled with a Soundbar, which was perfect for me as I was looking for something to replace my aging sound system and leave my entertainment center looking sleek and sexy.

I'll keep this short, as I tend to scroll right past long reviews when I'm researching. I bought it in February of 2013 from Best Buy, and they were clearing it out as it was "last year's model". I picked up a combo pack of the TV, a soundbar, and 4 pairs of 3D glasses. First of all, the setup couldn't have been easier. On-screen instructions for initial setup are very easy to understand, and the Wizard feature really lets you fine-tune your picture. 3 HDMI outputs were exactly what I needed, and the digital optical input is great for the soundbar. Anyway, I judge a TV's quality by a handful of certain films. Kind of like a benchmark. It passed with flying colors in all aspects. The 2D to 3D feature is great, but I honestly don't see myself using that very often. I have watched a true 3D film, and as I have zero experience with them previously, it looked fantastic! So, in closing, the picture is great, the inputs are generous, and the thin piano-black bezel is always attractive. I would recommend this model to anyone who wants a mid-level LCD 3D TV with solid performance.

I had been looking at this TV for 6 months, every time I went to the store (Sam's) for something really anything, I would go to the TV section just to look at it. I could not believe the price of the 3-D TV plus a sound bar! I was a little upset that I could not afford it then... However I kept going to look at it. One day I went in and it was gone, off the shelf, none in a box, only the display. I thought well there goes that...as I continued shopping I found one off to the side still in the box and unopened! After finding out it was the last one I bought it. Best decision I made in a long time! Right out of the box set-up was a breeze, first thing I watched was of course a 3-D movie and it was AWESOME! Great sound with the sound bar also!

I bought this flat screen because I wanted the 3-d experience and ease of use. I did months of research on many sets and using this one at the store sold me. I am a big movie fan and have always wanted 3-d,and this set was perfect.

I have really enjoyed this TV so far. This is my first HD TV, the picture and color is great. It makes watching movies a whole new experience. The style of this TV works well even in my old farm house. It fits right in with my unique home design. I have only had this product since the beginning of December, but so far I am very happy with the quality of it.

No-hassle television with outstanding picture and great 3D. I switched off cable and went with satellite for the 3D content and won't be looking back. Network connectivity to my movie library on my computer is seamless and easy to use.

This product claims to have trumotion plus, which it does. However, they claim it is constantly running. You have no option to make the trumotion go higher so you do not get the full effect. Other than that it's a great tv. I highly doubt this review is going to get posted because all of the reviews have 5 stars and is probably read beforehand by lg reps then filtered based on a 5 star rating. I hope someone from lg reads this before he decides to not post this and maybe can be useful and refer the idea of updating the firmware to someone who can do it.

This tv is very nice tv with great color and great 3d. It's not a smart tv but in these days of iPads who needs one. Only a couple of small issues I have sometimes the power saving feature switches automatically to off and I can't seem to synch the sound bar to the tv. Both are small issues overall I give this tv 4.75stars out of 5 a real great deal. The 3d seems to be as good as the theaters in my opinion . Highly recommend to buy!!!

Being retired, i could not afford much more than what i paid for this one. I had talked to a repaIrman about his choice in TV's on the market and he recommended LG. He did not miss the mark! Brought it home, plugged it in and the picture was PERFECT from the gitgo. No adjusting needed whatsoever. You just cannot beat that in this day of complicated electronics. Trouble and hassle free in every respect. Good on ya LG!
