I bought this TV used it for a little bit over a year and now I am told that the issue I am having is a common issue for this TV and it's going to cost me as much to fix the TV as it would to just buy a new one. I'm very disappointed that you would tell somebody or even have the nerve to charge somebody for an issue that you know is common on a product that already cost quite a bit of money to begin with. A warranty is only good for a year. I could have bought a TV for half the price for which I did for my kids room three years ago and the backlight on it's working just fine maybe I should have done that for ourselves.

I've had this TV for 4 years + and it's been a wonderful experience but last year I stopped receiving the free to air stations and I'm wondering if its the TV, cable or transponder. LG office is of no support in Nigeria.

This was my Father's Day for 2018! In turn I gave my son my LG 32LB5600 Flat Screen for his garage. This new LG Flat Screen is fantastic, The video quality is outstanding fabulous and the LG Sound bar with the woofer that came with it has made TV watching like being in a theater!

My wife and I purchased this TV just weeks ago and wonder how we did without it! Picture is amazing and sound is much better than we expected. We will not be buying a sound bar-period. Out granddaughter set up the apps for Netflix and others and we love it! Did not plan to purchase this brand, LG, but it was a demo tv on next to what we planned to purchase and LG was so much better! No regrets!

This is a perfect tv if you don't want or need smart features. The price is right and is perfect for being a bedroom television. The picture quality is great and even though it only has 2 HDMI ports, that was all that I needed for my bedroom.

Purchased this model two weeks ago. I like it's size, color, brightness... all the adjustable features. But there is one problem, the backlighting is very uneven, thus the average rating. Not as bad as some other brands, but not quite as good as the 40" it replaced.

I purchased an LG and noticed a clicking sound in the back. After returning the TV for a new one I noticed that the small clicking sound is simply due to not filtering the power. The picture quality and looks (aesthetics) of the TV are top quality. Major shout out to LG for keeping it classy. Also the mediators 12-month warranty is a huge plus. No extra cost.

Finally moved up from a tube TV and I really like this TV. The picture is great and so is the sound; it isn't theater sound from two speakers, but it's miles better than what I had before. Setup was easy. Some don't like the widely spread "feet" on many LG models but I have a table plenty wide to accommodate it. The feet attach easily (be sure to attach them to the correct sides; each goes on one side, not interchangeable).

I've had my tv a year now,and love it. Picture is beautiful stock speakers sound very nice. My only issue with the tv is the optical out is not active while the stock speakers are chosen. Other then that, I love it. Highly recommend.

I bought this just about two months ago as our families first flat panel (and large) TV. It has a simple, clean look, and provides a clear picture. No "smart" features or advanced settings, but I was looking for something simple. We are using both HDMI ports and the component input, just perfect for us!

This is my first flat screen TV and has been an extremely great experience. With its lite weight design and size it was very easy to place in the right spot! I also found it to be very simple and quick to get it hooked up and ready to watch.

I replaced my older LG with this new LG. The resolution is great, the screen size is just perfect for the new college & NFL seasons. It's like being at the game, every detail is crystal clear, I am so very happy. And for the price, this was the best 49" available. I bought this model based on other reviews I had read. The biggest plus is its wide viewing angle; the picture quality remains good when viewed from off-angle.The poorest (and only disappointing) feature is the audio volume. To get a noticeable increase in volume (e.g., for quiet dialog), I have to change the volume setting from around 20% up to 60-70-80% of full scale. It is aggravating to have to change the volume setting so much to get just a small change in perceivable volume.

Upgraded from an LG42 LED purchased in 2008 (our 1st LG) . Was very happy with its picture quality and operation for 7 years. Now have the LG49 LCD and the improved features are remarkable. Would recommend this to anyone desiring quality at a reasonable price. If the LG42 hadn't been excellent I would not have returned to LG.

This tv has it all, (except for the Smart aspect). I wasn't looking for a Smart tv but wanted quality with exceptional picture. Found it with this tv. Quality and clarity of the picture on this model is excellent. Glad I made the right choice!!

I upgraded to this tv from an older LG lcd 42". The picture quality is very good for the price point. The viewing at an angle is very good also. For the price it seems to fit my needs better than the other brands due to its quality construction and features.
