LG UB8200 49" Class 4K Smart LED TV

I began my quest to obtain bluetooth audio from my TV. The product I bought suppostedly worked on any TV, especcially a newer, smart TV. After numerous contacts with that manufacturer, they kept directing me back to LG. After a few calls to LG, it became obvious the "optical digital audio" output was "not what was supposed to be". After inspection, it appears the output was damaged. It could not be used to connect the cord to the bluetooth equipment. I am disappointed that I never used this outlet until now, only to find out it was defective. And, the issue to connect Bluetooth so I can hear the TV, is now a dead issue.

I purchased this a few weeks ago and absolutely love it. It was easy to set up. I am able to navigate without looking at directions. Also love the app store. I didn't have to purchase a streaming device.

Now that 1st dryer from LG has been replaced with one that works, it is a decent machine. My only complaint would be the auto dry sensors turn off machine a bit too soon. Seems etc are usually still too damp to put away, so I re-dry in quick dry manual setting, (25) more minutes, & then items dry enough to put away without fear of mold or mildew on them.

I bought this TV aabout a month ago and the picture is incredibly clear. Everything we have watched from sports to movies, news and tv shows are incredibly detailed and clear. This TV is easy to navigate and comes with an incredible amount of options for all of our media needs.

I have had the tv for 2 weeks and love it. The first couple of days it made my girlfriend nervous because the people on the tv was so clear she thought they were in the room watching her amazing picture quality!! When I hook up 4k bluray and Comcast x1 DVR it worked everything with ease so all we had to do was enjoy this great Tv

We are very happy with the LG tv, grear color and features, even though we only have outside antenna, there are still great features such as details of channel and tv guide we love having. Only negative thing was the feet on the stand instead of in the middle. Would be great if came with a detailed book to get more of the special features on tv.

Overall good TV but the input lag is almost 2 seconds when connected with HDMI even in Game mode.

Tried many times to signup in the tv, any error you have to start over, just to put my email with the remote control , and understand the date is very bad

I bought this TV about 2 years ago and it has proven to be be a wise investment. With WiFi connection it stays up to date so that it's software is able to render all programs to it's fullest showing. Thanks LG!!

I sent my. LG 49 inch TV in for repairs in June 6 2017. After many phone calls to COSTCO, the repair service and to LG, I have yet to see an official letter indicating that I would get a new TV or that I would be reimbursed. I m not a couch potato so it is not like I can do without but there have been a time or two when I have watched a movie out of my laptop and I have wished I could have watch them on a better screen. If LG would have been more efficient at dealing with this, I would have gotten the same model. Now I am just hoping that I can get my money back....

I stumbled into a great deal on this TV at Sam's Club and having a 9 year old Plasma TV thought this would be a good time to replace it. This TV is a high quality product with tons of settings and adjustments that can be provide to adjust picture settings to your satisfaction. I run all my sound through a surround sound receiver and system so I don't use the TV sound but the TV itself sounds decent for general use. I do wish there was more information provided addressing picture adjustments as I had to fiddle around quite a bit to arrive with final adjustments that were to my liking. With that done, I now have several adjusted picture scenarios that work well for me and am quite happy with the picture. I rated only 4 stars instead of 5 simply due to my being so used to a quality Plasma TV and the abundance of contrast adjustment, deep black levels available and high quality picture provided as opposed to many LED and LCD TV's. I have to say that this LG 4K TV does a very good job with black levels, color accuracy and provides an excellent high quality picture after adjustments are completed. Needless to say I'll certainly be in line for a OLED TV once prices are more reasonable but this LG UHD 4K certainly fills the bill for me for now and really does provide an enjoyable, pleasing picture and product.

Got great value. Dual purpose, great sound and commercial modes. AV sync offset = nice. Extra options and downloadable app content unlimited and fun. No degrade on powersave modes that usually make colors bad. youtube is super awesome especially using extra device picture is there when browsing the web, but really its about the screencast. WIth smartphone as remote and all, UHD and open API, the picture and sound was better than expected, the bandwidth saved streaming in certain apps (h.265 is also quite a plus. Owned for 4 months, much left I haven't touched.

Absolutely love it. A smart purchase. No regrets. A lot of features for the price. Perfect size for rooms that are not big, it has a large viewing screen without being overwhelming for the space. Great picture and sound.

I loved this 49" UHD TV the first time I saw it. I was blown away by the picture quality. It's incredibly clear and detailed, yet has a "softness" that is infinitely watchable! Clarity without a hint of harshness. The thin bezel was the second thing that attracted me to this TV. It seems to be a minor thing but the thin bezel adds dramatically to the viewing experience - all you see is screen. The 49" size fits perfectly in my living space, so this panel was a WIN-WIN-WIN for me.

We find this TV to be a bit laggy. It has all of these features (tons in fact) and in order to optimize the performance of the TV they ALL need to be shut off. What is there purpose if they need to be shut off? When the lag is not occurring the quality and color are beautiful. Maybe the technology just isn't all the way there yet but it's getting there.

I have owned this tv for only two months and I was really happy with it I got a good deal on it I bought it from target. After I owned it for six weeks the video went out on it but it still had great sound but without a picture was more like a expensive radio. I called the protection plain and was able to get someone to come fix it after it took close to two weeks to get the parts ordered by him. It is working good now . Thanks Duane

I have had my tv a little over a month now, and really like it. It has a excellent picture, and the wifi has good speed and connects well with my home network. My only complaint is no support for flash to be able to watch more online content. Other than that, it is an excellent unit.

Product is awesome!! Sound quality is amazing. I bought it for plug and play with internet and not for gaming purpose. Using remote for typing was bit frusturating but LG Remote App helps to make it easy in Iphone/Ipad.

I love this TV, Its not to big and not to small. Great colors and works great for 4k Netflix. Remote is great and have wonderful features. I purchased this tv on sale at target so i got a great value for it..... a must buy
