After a year TV turns off by itself, and some time wont connect to internet its never been dropped still or anything, i have 2 tv and both are doing the same thing, LG wont fix them under warranty i have to pay outta pocket to fix them because i dont have any receipts.

My Dad had looked into new T.V.'s and so the hard work was done. He lives in Illinois and as soon as I returned to Arizona, I went to Best Buy and bought this T.V. I LOVE this tv.

Purchased the TV at ABT and purchased a 4 year warranty. Similar to other reviews the TV stopped working after 2 years. Started with a flash once in a while on the lower right on the screen, then one day nothing. Took the TV into ABT for a repair and they said it was not able to be repaired. Not happy that this TV only lasted two years and warranty does not cover a replacement. ABT gave me a credit for what I paid for the TV but lost the two remaining years on the warranty. Loved the picture and the sound but looks like from other reviews I may not get my money's worth in the long run.

Thought I was getting a great buy on this unit. NO THE CASE. The unit is really old and incompatible with most new technology. Not even on LG website as US unit. The so called "SimpLink" only allows on/off control, no other features work at all, nor are there any workarounds. The unit has only two HDMI inputs, one stopped working after 4 months. Do not buy LG televisions, they do not play well with other equipment or technology.

This is a great TV. We have an antenna and the refresh rate is great! We get over 70 local channels. I recommend this TV. Picture is crystal clear on all channels. You will not be disappointed.

This TV is awesome. Good color balance and excellent sound. I play HD videos on it, and it gives pleasant experience with crisp picture quality. The panel is also nice with thin bezel. The joystick like control switches are placed perfectly. The new stand gives a different and premium look to it.

I love this TV. I received this TV for Christmas along with an XBox One console. The gaming is nothing short of perfection. NO ghosting at all! Blue ray movies are superb. You can count the scales on Nemo :D The size fits perfectly in my apartment, anything bigger would be wasted pixels. I would definitely recommend this TV.

We have owned this tv approximately two months. The picture is exceptionally beautiful. The only issue is that the closed captioning option in the settings is grayed out. I am hearing impaired and need this feature.

I really was not in the market for a new TV, but got an email from a retailer with a great price on this TV. I was upgrading from a 46" that was a few years old, and this one took up about the same amount of space. The picture quality is much improved over my 5 year old model (also an LG). While this one does not have the apps, I use other devices to access the internet anyway, so it was not a factor in my decision making for this purchase. I will also say that LG has improved the sound quality over the years as well. I don't always feel like I have to run the sound through my external speakers.

We have been looking a long time for a 50 inch TV. So glad we chose this one. Great features and easy to understand, easy to set-up and connect. The slim silver frame "disappears" against a light wall - all you see is the screen. We were specifically shopping for LG as family members had large LG TV's that had great screens and sound. Other devices are easy to connect - it was all up and running within 30 minutes. I am female without a lot of muscle (unfortunately!) and I could lift it and manage it during the set-up. Have received compliments on it from visitors, as well!

We have been using this TV for almost 5 months now and we have no complaints at all--just enjoyment. The picture quality is very high quality. The audio is okay with the built-in speakers but we got a surround system soundbar to upgrade the audio. Unfortunately, it seems this model (like many other models I heard) does not support 5.1 surround sound pass-through via HDMI with my surround system but we use a workaround by connecting my blu-ray player and computer directly to the surround system.

Did lots of reviews and lg was always near the top of the ratings. This 50 inch tv was the exact fit for me with its large screen and great picture quality. I have enjoyed it for over a month now and have not found anything that I don't like.

Bought this set to replace a 46" set in living room. This is correct fit for that. Only complaint I have as it does not come with written manual to set it up and make adjustments. Online manual is a pain to locate and understand. LG needs to correct that.
