I bought this TV 11 years ago and have never regret it I love it excellent picture A + Plus on everything it's lasted longer than any TV I've ever had the color is more real looking than any other TV I've ever seen including my friends TVs

Bought our TV in 2011. Here it is in 2020 and still kicking!! It outlived our washer and dryer, our dish washer and our microwave. I'm sure after I publish this review, she's gonna break. But that's OK. Picture a 7 out of 10 stars. We used the 3D once or twice. Other than that, cannot complain! Our ne t TV will definitely be an LG.

I loved this tv . It had a gorgeous picture and amazing 3D. Unfortunately I no longer have it. It died after 5 years . I think that's a pretty good lifespan considering how high tech it was. No complaints .

Great picture and love the 3D conversion of normal TV channels so if a movie is not presented in 3D I cant change it to simulated 3D. The SmartTV apps like Netflix. gives my family good viewing options.

I'm extremely pleased with this television. After having done plenty of research and decided on a passive 3D LED television I settled on the LG 55LW5600. The picture has been fantastic and the smart features have added a whole new experience. The Simplink connection to the BluRay player makes playing DVDs and BluRays super easy and the DLNA compatibility allows me to share files on my Home NAS and PCs easily. My only regret is that the newer models now come with Widi built in.

I picked up this LG Smart TV after owning a Samsung BluRay that had awful menus and bricked itself during a software update. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of apps but disappointed that Pandora was missing. Over a year later, Pandora showed up one day which was a pleasant surprise. Pros: Good picture. 3D without glasses (but we never use it). Plenty of HDMI inputs. Light weight. Low power consumption. Cons: The menu system is like something out of 1980. When channel 56 stopped working during a wind storm that affected our outdoor antenna, the TV started tuning actual channels rather than virtual channels which made finding and getting channel 56 back again a huge ordeal. I had to go on a quest to find out I had to enter digital channel 43 to get channel 56 to come back. When I would enter 56, I would get leakage from our neighbor's dishtv box (some sort of channel 99.99)! What a joke. I can recommend this as a good quality TV but if you want to easy to use smart TV features or even well designed basics like well implemented manual tuning or dynamic signal strength meters, you might need to look elsewhere.

Anytime I have people over they can't stop complimenting the image quality and vibrant colors on my 55LW5600. They ask me why my HDTV looks so much better than there own HDTV from other manufacturer. I did an exhaustive search before choosing the LG product and have been very pleased with my purchase. The only con that I have is that it will not support any Webcams except the LG camera which is extremely limited with low resolution, very expensive, and way to bulky compared to the other Webcams that are available in todays market.

Got rid of my old rear projection DLP tv and got a LG LCD TV. My primary reason was I needed a TV that would work in a brightly lit daytime room. I also wanted an anti glare screen to minimize reflections. While all TV's will wash out in direct sunlight this TV does a remarkable job in a well lit room. I am very happy with my purchase and am impressed with the picture quality.

We have enjoyed our LG 3D Tv for almost a year and have been extremely happy with the picture and the 3D features. Just recently the main board stopped working and we lost both video and audio. Called LG and got an appointment set up with a local company to come and look at the problem within two days. They have to order a new main board but I was satisfied with the prompt service and excellent response from LG. We should be enjoying our tv again by next week. We did decide to purchase the extended warrenty for 5 years being that it is a 3D tv and I have not had any experience with that type of tv yet and they are still relatively new to the market. The original factory warranty was used in this case but I feel better knowing there is a backup plan.
