LG UF6800 55" 4K UHD Smart LED TV

It was good at 5 years old, when I added an upgraded router, now I have lines in the backroung of the picture. Tried everything--hours on the phone with internet provider and LG support. Nothing helped.

Purchased this TV 12/2015. Good picture, menu. Unfortunately, it died Feb 2021. A thousand dollar TV should last more than 6 years.

The HD picture is incredible! The sound is wonderful, do not have to turn it up past 15 most of the time. East to use the remote to set everything to what I want.

I got this TV in 2016 and it was marketed as the latest mid-range LG offering. I have had a TERRIBLE time finding ANY apps you actually WANT to use. Basics are there: YouTube, Netflix, Pandora, Prime Video, Play Movies. Other BIG ones? Not compatible. Hulu? Not compatible. NFL? Not compatible. DISNEY+? NOT COMPATIBLE. Would recommend this TV burn in flames.

Was given this TV as a gift. Beautiful picture. Crisp picture. 55" flat screen LCD. Multiple HDMI inputs, component input. Smart TV functionality.

Very disappointed in the tv. I purchased this LG product 2 1/2 yrs ago. The picture quality was great until my screen developed a line near the bottom which causes a bight flickering. And of course its out of warranty so most likely will need to purchase a new tv. Ridiculous that the life span of this tv is less than 3 years especially with the amount of money spend to purchase it. Needless to say I highly doubt I would purchase another LG.

I have had this tv since it was available back in 2015. I recently cut cables and went to online TV providers. I searched for the Sling app and it is not available on this model of OS or I just can't find it?

After using and absolutely adoring my LG UF6800 55" HD TV for 2 years, all of the HDMI ports on the back failed. After researching the issue, I've found that many different models suffer this same issue. This is my second LG and I'm afraid I will not purchase another one. The warranty had just expired and I can't find a replacement mainboard anywhere. Many are listed but are always out of stock. I can only assume because of the failure issue.

Bought the LG 55UF6800 in July 2015 and the TV died in July 2017; screen went grey for all inputs (HDMI and Antenna but sound still worked. TV was out of warranty so did some Googling and found that the video board was most likely bad. Order a video board on eBay and replaced the old one and TV has been working since (about 2 months).

Great TV for the cost. I dont have any issues except youtube app get hung some times for which you need to restart the TV. This is also not so frequent but for me it happens once in a month.. Other than this, No issue with TV...

I think the picture quality is nice. I would recommend getting a sound bar for better quality sound but it's not awful without one. I haven't had any problems. It does need to be updated often but it's like a computer, so that's understandable.

It has been almost 3 months since I bought this TV and I have had nothing but great things to say. For the price there is no competition that even comes close. I can Stream 4K ultra HD on Netflix and I have never seen such perfect clarity! Absolutely the best purchase of this year hands down. I BRAG about this TV to all my friends and Co-workers and when they see it they agree. Absolutely worth twice what it costs.

Just bought it a week ago, so far loving it. This TV is now the reason i sit in my living again. Hope LG improves the way youtube works since videos some times crash but that might just be my slow internet connection. Can not wait to see the light improvements that WebOS 2.x will bring.

I love LG, all of my PC/Mac monitors are LG, that being said I wanted a LG TV that is capable of playing 4K, and choose this one because it is just in the middle between price and quality, but I feel a little bit disappointed that the sub pixel matrix wasn't squared and had an extra white sub-pixel, I included a picture using a macro lenses to compare the LG 55UF6800 against my LG 29UM67-P monitor. That being said, the TV display quality is great, the HEVC/H.265 decoding is great, speed is acceptable.

I bought this tv thinking i could retire my roku. Had to get it back out. The apps are limited and the tv itself doesnt support adobe flash limiting my use of even downloadable tv such as HBO Go. When is LG gonna upgrade the app store?

I bought my new LG smart TV about a month ago and i am just now getting use to the awesome picture and all the ins and outs of the TV. The one downside to the awesome picture is that on some shows and can see thats is a stage set or how its really is only makeup. It seems shows and movies have not caught up to the technology.

I recently purchased this TV and have fell in love! It is the best TV I have ever owned. When I went out to purchase a new TV this one was not what I budgeted for, but I am so glad that I made the splurge because the quality of this product is irreplaceable.
