I use this as a second lens attachment to my Lowepro Nova 140 AW case, and it is an ideal lens case for my Canon 50 mm 1.8f prime lens. It also fits a fisheye lens attachment nicely (one or the other).

I initially ordered this case to store my new Canon 10-22mm wide-angle. The dimensions listed seemed to indicate it would be an almost perfect fit -- but those dimensions are of the OUTSIDE of the case, not the actual storage capacity inside. The thicker-than-expected padding meant there was no chance of storing my wide-angle in this particular case. It does, however, work fairly well to store my 50mm/1.8.
