Questions & Answers

DENNIS M : Will this fit under an airplane seat?MATTHEW S : Sure, it'll fit. Just don't overpack the outer pockets. I carry a Nikon D7100 with 55x300mm lens, a Nikon D5200 with 18x140 lens, a wide-angle lens, several batteries and SD cards,a filter kit, camera straps, and there's still room to spare inside. I've had this case for at least two years. It goes everywhere with me. Can't find a thing wrong with it. Good traveling companion, even squeezed with your feet into the space under the airplane seat in front of you.THEO E : Yes, depending on how full you pack it.LARRY G : Yes, this bag would easily qualify as your personal item and for under the seat. If you have any doubt it should be easy to check with your airline to be positive since sometimes you run across special situations. I've had this bag for a few years and it's fantastic!GARY C : I think it would fit if it's not overly stuffed.
Shopper : Will it fit a Nikon D5300 body with a Sigma 17-50mm lens, a Sigma 70-200mm lens and Swarovsky 8.5x42 binoculars plus extra battery and charger?DANIEL S : I can get a Sony A55 camera, a F58AM external flash in a case, 18-270 lens, and at a least 2 smaller additional lenses. I feel bigger would be better if you plan on growing your photographic inventory from what I mentioned previously. It's a wonderful case to have.KATHERINE R : I don't know how large the binoculars are but I can fit a Nikon D40 fit with a Nikon 28 - 200 lens, a hotshoe flash, a Nikon , an extra battery and battery charger, 18 - 24 lens and a Flipcam with room to spare.CHARLES L : Not 100 percent sure but I feel strongly that it would fit the camera lenses just fine and the binoculars might fit across the top. But the lining inside have Velcro and might be able to fit them all with some planning. I really like the case and it fits my gear just fine with chargers and such. Good luck.CRAIG M : Can't answer about a Nikon camera and mentioned accessories, but it allows me to carry my Canon 50D, four extra batteries, a Sigma 10-20, an old Tamron 28-80 manual lens, a few filters, plenty of memory cards, cleaning cloths, and other small items. The Tamrom 28-80 remains on my camera most of the time, and I can fit another (Soligor 75-260mm) old and large lens into the bag when the camera is around my neck. The bag is somewhat bulky for carrying around during events where you may want to keep your gear list light, so for simply carrying a camera body/lens and one additional lens with a few small things, you'd perhaps do well to consider a different(smaller) bag. More often than not, this particular bag carries more than I want to carry on my person, with the chosen gear going into a smaller bag after I've arrived at my destination for better portability.DAVID D : Hi I have a cannon rebel t2i, three lenses plus one on the camera, lens collar for wide for my angle lens, polarize lens cover, camera neck strap, 3 extra batteries, battery charger, cleaning supplies, small spiral notebook, pens, pencils, extra chip and a few things I forget right now. They all fit comfortably and can be covered with the rain shield.
Shopper : will my d3s with 17-35mm attached fit with this bag?LARRY J : I wish I could answer that question, but I gave the bag as a gift. I own the commercial Lowepro bag.HANNELORE T : I have a D300 and I use it mostly with my 18-200 mm lens and the camera fits very nicely in the bag with the lens attached. Of course you have to adjust the velcro dividers. There is plenty of room left in front of the lens and on top of the camera. I am pretty sure your D3s with 17-35mm lens will fit. Good luck.DENNIS R : I don't know what "d3s" are but the bag is 9 inches deep by 5 inches wide by 10 inches long and the inside dividers are all velcro adjustable to ANY configuration. The velcro holds extremely well and there is no chance of them moving. It's a very well designed bag with many specialty pockets so you won't lose small items in the bottom of the bag. Although it's called a "beltpack" there are no loops to pass a regular belt through. In the back there's one large "loop" the covers the entire back with the openings at the top and the bottom, so I'm not sure how you would use that to attach the pack to your waist.ROBERT R : I have a D90 with a 17-50 attached with room to spareROGER A : I am using the Lowepro Nova 180AW with my Nikon D7000 w/Nikkor 18-200 DX lens. I also have room for two additional lenses. Since the D3S is larger it would likely not fit as shown in the ad with the lens down and the camera body across the bag from front to back. The D3S would have to go in the bag with the camera body from side to side of the case, base down which would also take up room and leave less for accessories. I like the case very much.DANIEL S : I am sure it will. I can fit a Sony A55 camera, 18-270 mm zoom lens, 90mm macro, and an off-camera Sony flash and case, plus other misc. smaller items quite easily. Two normal size lenses would fit comfortably in this case. I could use the next larger size case, now that I have added another lens to my photography arsenal.ROBERT L : Since I don't own th D3 or the 17-35, I'm not in the best position to answer, but I don't think they will fit. I can just get my Nikon F3 (with motor drive), and a 105 or 135mm prime lens into this case. I think your items are larger than the F3 + prime lens combination.JINGYAO Z : yes

Perfect for my use

Not too big, not too small, it's just right! Feels sturdy, and it has all the little pockets I need for batteries, cards, pen, etc. It's a perfect walk-around bag for the city or a visit to the park.

Awesome!

It definitely is functional, and for the price I think the best you can get. I love the size, I have only 1 extra lense and a flash so it leaves me space for a wallet or so. I have Canon T2i and a 70-300 lense and it fits just fine. I also really like the waterproof cover.

Great Bag For The Price

I outgrew a Lowepro Adventura 170 and stepped up to the Nova 180AW for the additional space. The All Weather protection was a welcome bonus. I found the added pockets very beneficial. I can now store and carry all my (current!) equipment in one bag. The discounted price I paid when I purchased it from Adorama was exceptional also.

Lowepro delivers again

Been buying Lowepro bags for years... they just seem to do it right, and deliver great bags/cases at reasonable prices. Easy to use, well padded, plenty of nooks and crannies to stash everything. This particular bag is a couple of inches deeper than "absolutely perfect" for carrying a couple of P&S megazooms and related gear. Will probably get around to stuffing a piece of foam padding on the bottom to make it perfect, size-wise, soon enough, in the mean time there's a little extra room at the top to play with.

You need this case!

This case is perfect for one camera body and a couple of lenses. Enough space for what I need to transport (most of the time.) I love the waterproof coat that hides away in the front pocket.

Great bag. I really like the pull out wet weather protector that tucks back into the bottom of the bag when not in use. Adorama's price was very good to [...]

Holds all the essentials

I bought this case as a step-up (in size) from the Lowepro Toploader 65 AW. The Toploader's inside compartment was able to handle my Nikon D40 with the 55-200 zoom lens attached, the 18-55 lens, and a Giottos Rocket Air Blaster (a must have), but without any spare room. The Nova 180 AW's inside compartment easily handles all of this while leaving two spare compartments available for what I plan to add (a flash and a macro lens). This is a very well-constructed case that's reasonably comfortable on the shoulder, though the strap could use more padding.
