Great to carry compact D40 outfit. I can comfortably fit in D40 with 55-200 vr, sb-400 and either 18-55 or 35/1.8; plus can carry cp and nd filters on outside pockets. Carrying all three lenses is possible, but is less convenient.

I purchased this for my D40, it works great. I can fit in the d40, sb-400 flash and both the 18-55 and the 55-200 vr lenses. In addition, there is room for two filters (ie cp and nd) in the outside pockets. The whole outfit described above weighs 4 pounds, 2 oz.

Perfect bag for beginers with a new super-zoom camera. You can transport almost all the accesories like filters, charger or wires for downloadig photos to the computer. I strongly recomend this beltpack!
