I wanted a smaller shoulder bag for a walk-around purpose but still be able to carry more than just a camera and one extra lens. A local store happened to have 180AW, and I thought it was a lot smaller than I expected but obviously a bit taller than I wanted. So my choice was either 160AW or 200AW which has more space horizontally to lay out for more stuff if I need to. But I think I made a right choice selecting 160AW. - It looks and feels small but it fits Canon 5D Mark II with 50L attached, and stack 35L, and 135L on one side, 200 f2.8II L (or two small lenses) on the other side comfortably, or you can also put two bodies (not pro body) with lenses attached and has still space for one extra small lens. There are many utility pockets inside. I already felt some weight on my shoulder with those gears, so I don't see myself carrying bigger shoulder bags with more stuff in it. I really love the look and feel of it (indeed it looks less camera bag). Plus I'm a small guy, and this bag doesn't look obnoxiously huge on me. - I stuffed it with gears and turned it upside down, shook lightly, and they didn't fall out of the bag nor a flap (the cover of the bag) opened, so I think it is secure in both Velcro and magnet positions. I don't think you should abuse a bag with thousands of dollars of equipments inside anyway. - Padded shoulder strip feels comfortable. I like the accessibility to the camera and lenses. I usually leave in a silent mode. Padding inside is good. There are a few zippered compartments inside and outside but you can't put very large stuff in there. - So far I'm loving my Lowepro Pro Messenger 160 AW. I've been using a backpack to carry around my camera gear, but this is small and stylish. Yes, it is pricey, but all the competitors have identical prices unless they are made very cheaply. If you can afford it, you won't be disappointed.
