Great Product

Very well built, subsequently a bit heavy. I really like the versatility, can be carried like a duffle bag or a backpack. The interior can be easily customized to fit your own requirements. I can carry nearly all my gear with this pack. I can also arrange the dividers to carry my 600mm f/4 with a body attached. The system for packing a tripod works well also. I have been happy with my choice.

Terrific- Airline friendly - Great!

I started with the smaller version -only slightly smaller but my 1D MkII's stressed the zipper. LowePro upgraded me to the larger for a small fee instead of repairing the old one. That's cool! Top Rate!! I fly with this fully loaded and fits in overheads with fair ease and I stuff it full. never had any troubles. Leaves me hands free to carry other gear if I'm working solo. Very good back and I highly recommend it and LowePro for outstanding service. Holds (see photo) - 1Ds Mk3, 1D Mk3 - x2 580's speedlights, 4 pocket wiz. 28-70. 2,8, 16-35, 70-200,cords, 24-TS, 45-TS, 1.4 convert, tape, speedlight transmitter, Sekonic L-358. Monopod, 50mm macro and many bits and bobs.

It will last a lifetime! Very rugged construction. Weather resistant zippers and added pouches for quick access to small lenses.

One of the most innovative, versatile packs ever made for serious outdoor photographers. Pro Trekker AW II was completely redesigned this year (2003) with hi-tech materials and dramatic new looks and function. The brand-new, fully adjustable harness system has many ergonomic features: an internal frame, CollarCut shoulder straps, quick-adjust waistbelt, load adjustment straps and DryFlo mesh padding. The interior is fully customizable for any system. An All Weather Cover (for rough weather and dust) and built-in travel cover provide serious protection. The advanced, quick-access YKK zippers are water-resistant. Pro Trekker AW II comes with three newly redesigned accessories (Trekker DayPack, Trekker Lens Pouch and Trekker Accessory Pouch), a travel cover, rubber handle and a quick-access Trekker Tripod Mount, which can be positioned on the sides or down the center of the pack. Attachment loops are made from the same tough Hypalon you see in river rafts they let you position optional SlipLock accessories wherever they're most convenient: on the front or sides of the backpack, or on the harness or waistbelt.

Position the quick-release Tripod Mount on either side or down the center of the pack. The vertical position balances the weight for difficult terrain. Lowepro's patented All Weather Cover offers serious protection from weather, sand and dust. Our new, revolutionary YKK zipper allows quick-access and water-resistance. Easily position optional SlipLock add-ons on the Hypalon attachment loops. The most advanced, fully-adjustable technical harness system of any camera backpack including an internal frame, CollarCut straps, sternum strap, load adjustment straps and a contoured, padded waistbelt to distribute the load.
