USE: Attached to Mountainsmith lumbar packs both photo pack and general use packs for water bottles, compasses, energy bars, lens exchange, et all. Pros: Great extra "Pocket". If there was room I'd have one on all of my other gear bags. Tough web material and light to use. Easily attaches to almost any bag with 2 inch wide stiff, velcro attachment strap. Secure. And at the least, holds a water bottle well. Con: Not very wide, so for lens exchange it will NOT hold a true wide angle. No padding of any kind including the bottom, so your "bottle" has no impact protection if you drop your pack, or fall. Your water bottle will get hot or cold depending on the weather.

I have used these for many things. Even as quick lens exchange holders. Not wide enough for wide lenses with hoods and not that tall for mid range zooms, but very handy for mis. gear and from time to time a water bottle. If they were wide enough you could insert padding, but the mesh is very flexible, so no support/protection for anything. The cinch top with lock is great and holds gear in place. Great extra "pocket" on Mountainsmith lumbar packs and on Lowepro packs. Lightweight and very sturdy construction. Solid bottom, but no padding there either. Still, keeps down on the weight and you could add some if you're handy.

Slipped over a belt, its as good as a fannypack bottleholder. Attached to a Lowepro backpack, it depends on the location of the Sliplock Attachment Point. The 32oz waterbottle may well be out-of-reach, and will always sway and slosh around (but WON'T fall out - good drawstring). My Slingshot 200AW is the old model with a Sliplock on the side, so I CAN reach the bottle without taking the pack off my back. But I had to rig a extra strap to reduce the amount of slapping around as I walk between shots.

It carries various size water bottles and secures nicely at the top. Quality construction and secure velcro strap fits Lowepro as well as other pack side straps. My reason for 4 stars is :it would be nice if it had some padding or insulation for carrying a spare lens or keeeping water cooler, but otherwise works fine for intended purpose.

Delivers what is promised. Freeze some water in a water bottle, place it in the lowepro attachment, attach to the lowepro camera back and you are on your way. Nice inexpensive access to a needed refreshment during a hard long day of photo shooting. I would normally do without due to inconvenience, but this make it convenient.

Slipped right on to my belt system, I use one for carrying water of course. The other I use as a quick change and gadget bag. It allows me to keep my gadgets close at hand while shooting. Great for what it was designed for and additional functionality as well.

Has a velcro strap that will wrap around your belt and you can forget about it. Very simple and handy to use.

This is one of Lowepro's SlipLock accessories and it works fine with my Slingbag 200. It's soft and is made of mesh so when not in use, you can take it off easily with a velcro and just put it in a bag. It won't take up space as it's soft and can collapse it down it so it won't have thickness/height. Doesn't look too good on a bag when a water bottle is not in it though. I used a normal size wattle bottle (like Arrowhead, PolishSpring) and also used one of those Polar Water Bottle(plastic water bottle for cycling) and used one of those nalgene? water bottle and it works fine as there is a cinch strap on the top so you can adjust the opening.

Easily attaches to backpack or belt. Holds both small and large bottles of water snugly. Can be used to carry other accessories as well.

This holder is great if you have a Lowepro pack and want something to hold your regular water bottle, Sigg or Nalgene bottles. Holds the bottles very securely! A little expensive but one cannot live without water for long. Slip lock system is genius.
