I use this for weddings and portraits. It does what it said it will do. Easy to attach and you can get away without using a flash bracket with this attached.

I've resolved to overcome my dislike of flash mainly because I never learned to use it to get photos I like but I don't want to resort to multiple speed lights, pocket wizards, umbrellas or the like. I want to be able to "run & gun" in those settings where I feel comfortable using one flash - like around family or gatherings where people won't mind. This is the first product purchased toward that goal to use with a Canon 580EXII because it came with filters, folds flat & got decent reviews. It gives better results than the DIY option using plastic from a milk carton & looks a whole lot better but still funky. I like it's flexibility; the bounce has barn like doors on it that fold open to reduce the light bounce. I like that it folds flat but it takes a bit of time to get it set up; do it ahead of time. The materials say made in the USA but the whole thing is plastic & cheesy & overpriced but acceptable.

Saw a photographer using this product at a recent wedding I attended. It seemed like such a simple device to use that I decided to give it a try. It is much lighter and quicker to use than my flash brackets. The build quality is much better than it appears. It works well enough that I ordered a second kit for my second shooter rig. We will be retiring the heavy, bulky metal flash brackets!
