So far, so good
I have had mixed experience with this type of battery. One brand new battery would not charge with the Canon charger. A second charged fine. I haven't had the working battery long enough yet to judge the lifetime. The price is so much lower than the Canon OEM, I can afford to take a risk that it may not last as long as the Canon.

Just like the more expensive versions
I have not done any scientific comparisons, but it seems solidly built and it is great to have some backup bateries for a reasonable price.
