I purchased this as an extra because Nixon brand is not available anywhere. I trust Adorama, so I thought they'd have trustworthy aftermarket products. All I can say right now is the battery charged in my Nixon charger and was accepted by my Coolpix. I can speak to its performance after my vacation, after which I'll add a star if necessary.
