I purchased two LW2231 cameras two years ago. I like the cameras because they are wireless, and have a microphone. Problem is now one of the receivers seems to be malfunctioning. It's dropping signal, and making the DVR beep a number of times a day. How can I purchase a replacement Receiver for this camera?

I ordered it, paid for it then was told not in stock and will not be carrying the product anymore. SO I NEVER got the product.

About 5 years ago I set up a video monitoring system using three L2110 cameras. Over the last year or so, two of those cameras have become unreliable and I replaced them with LW2231 units. The improvement over the 2110 series is significant. Better resolution, better performance in low light conditions, and the wireless signal seems stronger. All in all a good upgrade. When the last 2110 kicks off I'll hope to get another 2231.

We set up a 4 camera Lorex surveillance system in 2012 and love it. We had a next door neighbor from hell move in 2 years ago. This man has caused nothing but trouble for us the whole time but we have everything on video thanks to Lorex. He no longer regularly sneaks onto our property now that he knows he was busted by our cameras. Some apparent criminals have been deterred also when realizing we have cameras. The Lorex system is very user friendly and easy to use. The customer service is excellent once you are able to reach them.

For only 400 I was able to put in the kind of camera system I wanted for far less then the 800 down and 50 a month my alarm co wanted for the same system

I purchased this camera to add on my old system. This camera is so good, image is so clear with both day and night vision. It is much better than the previous models that I bought few years ago. Highly recommended this one.

Lorex cameras are awful but Adorama is great. 5 stars for Adarama..only one for Lorex.
The microphone portion of the camera does not work and the camera has to be replaced..of the 3 cameras I got from Lorex all 3 needed to be replaced. This is in no way a review or problem with Adorama.com. they are great. I have ordered from them several times and will do so again. The problem is with Lorex and the other cameras that also did not work I got directly from Lorex not Adorama. Keep up the good work Adorama. I'm sorry for the 1 star but again its not against you, it is for Lorex. Its not Adoramas fault that Lorex sells sub par untested products. Spent several hours on with tech support and they (lorex) tries to blame problem on everything but their product so beware they will tell you anything not to have to replace their product. Don't fall for it.

The camera is a replacement for a similar failed camera. Installation was OK, just replacing the old one. The mount was a little different than my 3 year old failed camera and required drilling new holes. It was disappointing that the camera would not pair with the one of the previous dual antennas. Consequent;y I had to wire in an additional antenna into the DVR. It was also disappointing that the old camera failed after just 3 years. No compensation at all was allowed on the failed camera.

The camera was easy to install and connect to my existing ECO system. The quality had been good. After about 18 months of service it continuously locks up. I have to unplug the power to the receiver, wait for the beeps and re-insert the power plug. The active view returns, but the lockups occur more often as time passes. I may call support to see if I can buy a new receiver, but hesitate to do so because of the hassle.

Bought 2 new wireless cameras to replace an existing camera that became inoperable. These new cameras are awesome, much better lenses, great day time/night time capabilities.

ordered on 19th of November and its December 5th.... shows still in warehouse. called three times... customer service is useless! charged my Paypal already... this is why this company will follow the path of other large companies that grow too quickly.... bad customer service will do them in! not to big to fail..... good product...........bad service. quit running specials and just fill the orders you have!!! not that hard people....

Surveillance camera stop working after a bout two weeks of use. Contacted Lorex and tech support helped me trace the problem to the power cord that supplies the camera. After receiving the power cord camera is back up and running working great. I feel Lorex could improve on answering their phone to help customers, had to wait 15 to 20 minutes on hold before I could to talk with someone and kept getting cut off being transferred. I had to call back 5 or 6 times before getting someone to help me. The was very frustrating. I rated camera a 3 star due to it shouldn't of had a problem in less than a month of use. Hope power cord last to work camera. Glad Lorex stood behind their warranty.

This is an add on to the system I already have and is perfect. I had Lorex cameras for a few years now and upgraded the system recently. I work in the surveillance business and this Lorex cameras are really good for the price. Don't buy from the big alarm companies when you can save a lot of money installing and monitoring yourself. For the wireless cameras make sure you have the receivers away from your router in the house. They interfere with the WI-FI a lot.

This is a add on camera to my existing system. I opted for the LW2231 because it is wireless and white. White to blend in better with the trim on the house. I would have preferred a wired camera, but running the wire was not a easy option. The camera works fine, meeting my expectations. I am happy with Lorex products so far.

This is the second LW2231 camera that I have purchased. The video resolution and frame rate are not as good as my wired cameras, but that is unavoidable using wireless technology. My first LW2231 is closer (66 ft.) to the receiver with far fewer walls in between than this one (75 ft.) so it has a stronger signal and higher frame rate. This camera drops off line periodically when someone walks between the camera and receiver. It also misses frames as evidenced when my dog crosses through the field of view and appears to jumps from one position to another. I am considering getting a range extender to boost the signal. The quality and color are adequate, but nothing extraordinary. The sound quality of the LW2231 is also adequate as well. I continue to be impressed with how easily the camera synchs up to the receiver. It is truly a plug and play system.
