Questions & Answers

Shopper : Will this fit a nikon sb700?REZA M : It should, although I'm a Canon shooter and not very familiar with Nikon speedlights. The Lastolite softboxes accomodate every Canon speedlight and I would think the same goes with Nikon but I can't be sure.JULIAN R : Yes. It will work with just about any standard form factor speed light. And work quite well. Good luck and all the best in the new year. Julian Ray Photography dot Com
Emmy B : Can I use this soft box for visatec light?LLOYD T : I'm not sure because this was built for speed lights and works great with them. You may want to check out the Lastolite Studio softboxes which are built for monolights and other studio strobes.
JINGLIANG Z : i have light stand and Speedlite Flash. If I buy this, do I anything else to properly set up? thanksJEFF C : No. The mount assembly fits any standard stud. The speedlite flash slides onto the soft box mount assembly and is adjustable.MIGUEL S : HI, Technically No. That's all you need. The softbox comes with an adapter that fits on top of the light stand. BUT I would have a swivel arm between the stand and the softbox adapter so you can angle the soft box. HOpe that helps.JINGLIANG Z : yeah, i am thinking 24" too. but 24" one doesn't come with bracket...thanks for recommendationJOHN H : Yes, that is all you need. However I would also suggest getting a bracket to go between the light and the stand that has a swivel in it so that you can angle the light downwards. Manfrotto makes some nice ones.DON M : Jing...You will need a way to trigger your speedlight as it will be off camera. Pocket wizard, on camera flash ( as long as it is not in the dead of daylight) or a long trigger cord from camera to flash. The 30inch model is a little wiley in the wind. You may want to consider the 24" model. Good luckMICHAEL S : Mine works great, and it collapses into a nice little package. But I ended up buying a little tilt mechanism for my light stand. I don't believe this unit tilts up or down on its own. The tilt adapter fits right onto your light stand, and wasn't expensive.BRIAN C : The only other thing I might suggest is a tilt head such as the Manfrotto Swivel Umbrella Adapter (so you can tilt it up and down). Good luck!JOSHUA P : So long as you have some way to trigger that flash (radio trigger, cable, optical slave, etc.), then you should be good to go.ROYCE R : That's about it. Just need a light stand or extension pole (a painters pole with an adapter works just fine) and you should be good to go (providing you have transmitters for your Speedlight, of course). I've used three different sizes of the EZBox for years and they work great and are durable and easy to use.RONDA C : I love these lightboxes but had to upgrade to a heavy duty light stand with a boom to position like I wanted. You probably don't need a heavy stand for the smaller lightbox but I like the softer light this one puts out. I use nikon sb900 and pocket wizard to trigger. Works great and easily transported and set up. Wood recommend. ROBERT K : Nope, you just mount it on the supplied heard ware. You need a way to trigger it off camera. TODD H : If you want to tilt the unit you will need a head

Softest portable light I've ever enjoyed

This softbox is big but small during traveling and is therefore perfect for travel photography. I do a lot of boudoir photography and this one is the perfect one light that allows one all the flexibility one can dream off especially if you add the grid.

The perfect soft light to go

It folds down so you can even take it in your carry-on luggage. Combine it with a Bogen nano stand and a great speedlight like the Nikon SB 900 and your options are limitless. Using both layers of diffusing you get amazing soft wrapping light, removing either or both you can increase the hardness of the light easily.

Rockin' Eazy Box!

Can't say enough about this product. Buy it! You won't regret it despite it's initial cost you will actually use it since it's so eazy! The 30x30" requires a bit more space to use, if space is limiting such as a wedding/house consider the 24x24". I have both!

Love, love, love!

I'm a portrait photographer shooting mainly on location. This softbox fits my shooting style and need for portability. I use it with a 580EXII and have absolutely no complaints! If I were hard pressed to list a con, the only thing I could say would be that the plastic hardware seems a bit delicate. I recommend the 30x30" over the 24x24". Go bigger!!

The Ezybox Hotshoe with the all new Mark II bracket (LL LS2414) converts your battery operated flash Features gun from a harsh directional light into a much softer diffused light. Available in three sizes - 15" x 15", 21" x 21" and 30" x 30", the Ezybox Hotshoe folds flat for easy storage and can be assembled in a matter of minutes. There are also a number of accessories available including extending handles, a tilthead bracket, creative diffusers and a powerful clamp with brass spigot

The new bracket is:
• Made of Delrin (a Nylon derivative)
• Designed to flex, not bend
• Hole is rectangular to match that of a tilt-head flash
• Can fit the Nikon SB900 flash
• Can accept handle mount flash with optional mount plates for Metz 76, Metz 45 and Quantum flashes
• Can accept optional studio type accessories being released late in 2009 such as beauty dishes, snoots and reflectors.
