About Lastolite

The Translucent Tri-Grip gives soft, even, and diffused lighting. The Tri-Grip'scomfortable handle allows for easy manipulation of the reflecting panel with no stand or support needed, even the photographer can hold the reflector and shoot at the same time!

The Tri-Grip is a revolutionary improvement in collapsible reflectors. By replacing the traditional round reflector with a unique triangular design with built-in handle, Lastolite has not only improved ease of use but also convenience.

Why Triangular? Because the shape combines the ability to collapse the product down and the ability to hold itself rigid. Taking lighting accessories on location has never been simpler! The Tri-Grip measures approximately 33" on each side, and is also available in the following colors: Gold/White, Sunfire/Silver, and Silver/White.

Lastolite Features

  • When folded, Tri Grips enable the user to lock them so they don't accidentally pop open
  • All Tri Grips feature Lastolite's DuraStitch technology and double laminated material which ensures product longevity.

Great for bounce/shoot through

By

Picked this up after seeing a few pros use it. Good general size and ability to use it one handed is awesome. Travels easily. Got this one over other models as I can use it as a diffuser or a reflector/bounce outdoors or with a flash which makes it more versatile. Very easy to clamp to whatever.

Excellent Tool

I love my Tri-Grip reflectors. I have the Tri-Flip kit as well and use the different sleeves all the time for the color and reflective quality I'm looking for in a shot. These are indispensable tools and will set your photography apart from the rest if you use them to your advantage.

Awesome!

My assistant loves this product. He used to have to hold a round scrim/reflector that had interchangeable surfaces that zipped on. Oh and they had no handle. He loves the velcro attachments and the how easy this is to hold. I love that I can actually hold it with one hand and shoot with the other if I need to.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Is this reflector 1 stop or 2 stop?
KEN W  As a reflector, I have no idea, but am guessing 1 stop. I use this primarily for a diffuser for wildflower photography, so the light transmitted through will depend largely on the distance between the subject and the diffuser, which will vary considerably.
