Does the job

from New York, NY  -  Pro Photographer

Used over lights in a photocopy set up, to eliminate reflections from artwork and photos. Works very well. With a crossed polarizer on the camera lens reflections are about 95% gone. Colors in oil paintings pop nicely. Prints with textured or matte surfaces have richer dark tones. I use two Manfrotto MultiClips to hold over daylight fluorescent lights. Fluorescents or flash are preferred since they run cooler than hot lights. Heat tends to wrinkle pola gels and eventually they become less effective.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
ANTHONY A  Needed to cross polarize for some artwork shots. These worked great!
Kristen M  How do you orient these polarize filters on the lights? I have two lights and I am unsure if the axis should be in the same direction on each light, or if one axis should be horizontal and the other, vertical. Thanks!
ACCOUNTS P  We use these filters with Smith Victor lights, and put them on barn doors. We generally use two lights at a 45 degree angle, and orient the fillters the same on each light. They do a great job on cutting down on the reflections and glare.
