Ordered 4 - one was a dud. No questions asked replacement by Adorama. Thank you. As far as the unit, I put them in the garage with 4 23W (100w equivalent) and now it is like daylight with 16 100w equivalent bulbs buring the same electricity as my previous 4 100w incandescent bulbs.

This can be used in any standard light socket, anywhere you need more light, as long as you stay within the wattage limit of the socket. I've got four 60-watt equivalent LED bulbs hooked up to mine (actual wattage 10.5 x 4 = 42W) and you almost need sunglasses to enter the room.
