For the price it's not that bad though I would not trust this outdoors with any winds. Too light weight. The legs can be somewhat difficult to spread out. Certainly not pro gear but adequate for someone starting out. if you plan to use outdoors definitely get sand bags for add security. Using this indoors not a problem. I'm using it with a reflector arm and reflector. You do have the added convenience of being able to turn the poles to rotate your light or reflector vs. having to rotate the whole stand.

These are better than my Savage 10ft stands. Adorama has a definite winner here. I'm going to buy another one.

This is a nice stand. It is not a heavey duty stand but works well for lights and general use.

I'm not a professional photographer but this stand fits my needs perfectly. I was looking to get the flash higher, above my subjects and the 9+ feet makes for great versatility. I'm only using a flash with a softbox or umbrella, so I haven't tried a ton of weight but this performs perfectly and is solid. Bottom Line: I wouldn't take this on a hike with me, but it is compact enough for a remote shoot and it provides a solid footprint, so I'm not worried about this thing falling over. I would buy another one in a heartbeat. (and probably will)

This was the second light stand I have purchased, after first getting a 6 foot stand. Was looking for something taller and a bit sturdier. This fits the bill perfectly, and gets the job done without any fancy bells or whistles. Price is very reasonable, you get a lot for your buck. My only wish is that it folded down a bit shorter, maybe to 30 inches or so instead of the 36 inches. Looking to purchase a second one in the near future. As a side note to this, I stepped on one of the legs too hard, and it bent quite a bit. In trying to bend it back, it broke (of course, aluminum will do that). The fix was very easy. After rounding off the leg tubing, I joined the 2 halves of the leg with a short length of 5/8" threaded rod, and used gaffers tape to secure everything together. Works the same as the day I bought it, and no one has noticed the repair yet.

Got this as part of the package with the Flashpoint SoftBox, 70watt Fluorescent Light Unit with Built in 19.5 x 27.5 Silver Soft Box. Was pleasantly surprised by the build quality for the price. The package is a great deal.

I love this. It is very stable, and easy to use. Only thing I wish it had was a carying case for the stand it's self. Everything else fits inside the bag it came with, but has no handle to cary easily. Used this instead of the hotshoe flash i purchased because this gave the best lighting on my last photo shoot.

A fantastic stand for light to medium heavy weight strobes and accessories that has come in handy more times than I can count. Simple to set up, stable, and well constructed (I've seen wimpier stands at twice the price), I can recommend these light stands to anyone. In fact, I'm picking up a few more! Really nice thing is it doesn't weigh a ton, so packing 3 or 4 in my lighting bag doesn't break my back.

This is a great light stand. It holds the flash head with no problems. I plan on getting a couple more as soon as possible.

The 10' height and the Air cushioned made it a no-brainer at such a price.

Great stands. I used these to replace the original stands that I use with a set of old but dependable Novatron studio lights. The old stands could barely support the heads, let alone a softbox. These are very sturdy, look great and provide the support I need. They are a bit heavy, but if you aren't planning to carry them around (these are permanent studio fixtures) then you can't go wrong. I give them an A+.

Excellent air cushioned stand. I highly recommend it, especially as part of a kit. Exceptionally great value for a stand that meets and far exceeds expectations.

I don't have experience with any other stands but this one works great for my use. Fit and construction are good and clamps lock tight.

I haven't used any other stands so I can't compare, but these seem nice. The air cushioning doesn't seem to work as well as I thought it would, but it does work. I watched a video where an air cusioned stand was demonstrated, and it dampened the fall much quicker than these, but I guess something's better than nothing. I does dampen the fall, just not as much as a higher quality one would. Enough to save your equipment and possibly your head.

I use these stands with Flashpoint 620 monolights. These are very sturdy stands with great stability. The air cushioning is great when lowering. Everything works as I hoped, wonderfully.

This stand was part of a lighting kit and it is very good. This is my second and it support has been more than adequate. However, I also had another flashpoint stand the LTSP10ACH which was more sturdy. I f you can get for near the same price get the ACH not the ACP. That being said you cannot go wrong with either one. They are both really sturdy light stands.

I got this as part of a package that also included the Flashpoint 70W fluorescent softbox. I think that this is a tremendous deal. The lightstand is MUCH nicer than I expected - very sturdy, and it is even air-cushioned! It is nicer than a brand-name lightstand I bought that cost more money and doesn't have air-cushioning. I liked the package so much that I ordered a second one the very next day.

outstanding light stand. very surprised at the construction. I was expecting a short flimsy stand. But what I got was a well constructed, durable stand. Cushioned lowering of main pole was great. durable nobs. OVER 8 ft. reach. AA+
