This is a shoot thru umbrella the photo shows it has a black outer lining but it doesn't. I wanted a bounce but it works well as shoot thru Would recommend using sturdy light stands at least mid weighted.

Good product, but no the same item that is depicted in the stock photo. There is no black backing as the photo suggests.

Great construction, just check out the other 60" umbrellas and you will see this is the only one with 16 ribs and made of fiberglass. And the shadow falloff is just perfect, size is everything gives your photos the look of being taken by a window head to toe coverage and soft soft light.

Nice but Adorama's picture is not correct. This does NOT have a black cover, which I assumed it did due to the picture.

Frame and ribs are well made and will stand abuse. Problem for the average photograher: 1) Black cover seams are terribly stitched, limiting bounce useage. 2) Short shaft length means that it is more difficult to position shoe mount flash units. To make full use of the product you must have a shaft mount adapter, and strobes with wide angle adapters.

I use this for video as well as photography, it supplies a perfect wrap around lighting.

A neutral white umbrella is a great tool for softening and spreading out the light. Pull the umbrella away from the light and watch the area covered enlarge. Use with a colored gel over the light for some really special lighting effects.
