It works alright for home defense use but would not be great for concealed carry but a Glock 22 is bit big for CC.FRANK K : I purchased a LaserMax for my Glock 26 from Adorama. It installed easily and is a sold sight. I did an on-line search for LaserMax and it appears they have a laser sight for your Glock 22 with no rails. They have place on their web site where you can enter data on your Glock and it will show you which of their sights will work on your gun.DENNIS J : I bought the guide rod laser for my sig and just love it. It was a snap to install.ELI I : I don't have that one I have the sight grip laser for 0.38 smith and Watson revolver Soory REX S : laser max replaces the guide rod and sring that fits internally in the slide , there is no need for exterior tactical rails .
