Questions about this item:

Michael H  I have a LTU40SBC Umbrella. I want to use it with my Nikon SB 800 speed light. What all do I need? Stand, hot shoe, attachment? Please help. Michael
Andrew R  You will also need an accessory shoe with a 5/8" spigot, and a light stand (most light stands have a standard 5/8" mount).
Shopper  Hello everyone, i am planning to purchase a Manfrotto light-stand, 4 section,5/8 stud with 1/4 x 20 tip.Can anyone tell me if that should be compatible with this Lumedyne Umbrella attachment? Secondly would i have to buy the hot shoe separately to fit a flash? As i see none being mentioned here. Thanks for your help.
PERRY C  The umbrella will fit the light stand with no problem. As far as the hot shoe, that answer is a little tricky. If you have a hot shoe cord for your type of system, that's all you need. If you're camera system and flash has wireless capabilities, then a cold shoe will work since the flash is being triggered by the camera. A cold shoe will also work if you are using a radio signal to trigger the flash.
