Nice bag; would have liked it if had stationary compartments for lenses so cannot roll out by accident.

Does job

I bought it because it met airline limits for a "personal item" carry on. Given that limitation, it works well.

I use it all the time but I'm mixed on it.

Solid backpack, good construction, you can fit a huge amount of stuff in it. I can easily get everything I need in there. The bad part: you must be super vigilant about keeping everything zipped up. Twice, I've had the zipper a little bit open after pulling something out, then forgot and picked up the bag and dropped $3000 worth of lenses on the ground. They still work, but are pretty dinged up.

Good on the road

I like this ack pack because it is medium size. it fits between my single camera carry around bag and big back pack for everything. I carried 2 camera bodies and filters plus battery grip and extra batteries and had room to spare. im glad i got this back pack at the deal and its very functional. the only thing i dont like is the opening on different sides that you have to dlip over. but all in all . really fit the sweet spot.

Bag offers good protection

It was on sale for 40. Thought Manfrotto is a good brand so might be worth to give it a try. My last case logic one was around 25.. Its shoulder strap started to show signs of wear in less than 15 trips. With the additional flash that I purchased, i need something bigger. I now carry my t3i with 18-250mm lens, 50mm prime, flash, extra battery, charger.. and still has a lot of room left. It might get too heavy if you really pack it full though. Can't really comment much on the durability at this point.. but it seems pretty solid.

A great backpack from Manfrotto

Having used a Canon Deluxe Photo Backpack 200EG prior to this, I received this bag at first it looked odd shapped bag, but once I put all my glass and my gear, I realized this is perfect for me. Lot's of space and compartment and dividers help protect your gear.

Well Made

Very well made. I like the size and appearance of the bag. I'm a bit disappointed by the storage layout. The backpack will not accommodate my newer Macbook Pro, but it will accomodate a Mac Air. Assuming you are going to use it for only camera gear, no big deal. The lens compartment is accesed by zippered flaps in the back and the opening is awkward for looking at all of your stuff at the same time (the flap won't stay open). Lots of good nooks and crannies for filters and the like. Good lightweight bag.

About Manfrotto MB MA-BP

The Manfrotto Advanced Tri-Backpack (Medium) provides 3 ways to store, carry and use your gear. You may use it in the backpack, sling bag or "x" position. Suitable for your pro DSLR with battery grip, attached mid-range zoom plus 3-4 additional lenses, flash and accessories; media card storage and space for 11" laptop or tablet.

The unique design of this pack allows you to access your gear even with the traditional backpack shape. In the backpack or "x" position with the straps across your chest you can easily and quickly swing the pack to your left or right side by simply releasing the quick release buckles. This means you don't have to remove the entire pack to retrieve gear. The pack is essentially divided in half with the bottom half for your photo gear and the top half for other items. It is slim and efficient in design.

The main camera compartment comes with modular padded dividers that give you the freedom to arrange the pack to suit your gear needs. The top compartment can also be used to store less frequently needed gear. There are two external zippered pockets that allow you to retrieve accessories without having to open the main compartments. The front of the pack contains tripod straps that can accommodate a small field tripod.
