Questions & Answers

Heather T : I have a Nikkor 35mm lens. Will this filter work for it?VANCE L : It should work, unless there is something unusual about the Nikor lens I'm unaware of. These lenses\filters reduce the minimum focusing distance of any lens they are put on, They aren't at their best with the shorter focal lengths, but I have used them successfully with lenses as short as 16mm on apc-s DSLRs under special circumstances. Longer focal length lenses provide for more 'magnification' of the subject and get you away from it, which is just about right in most instances. This particular close up lens\filter does a decent job paired with a sharp lens
BARBARA F : will it work with my canon t3i and 18-55mm kit lens?DALE H : If your Canon 18-55mm lens has a 52mm filter capability it should work. Should it have a smaller diameter filter size (example 50mm) you can get adapters to get to 52mm. Most are much less than buying another filter. Hope this helps.JOSEPH S : If the Lens take a 52mm filter then yesLaurence G : It should work. You will have to experiment with the zoom focus length a bit and take into account the very short depth-of-field that will occur during macro photography. I have hand held my camera using these type of accessories, but mounting the camera on a tripod generally works better as a tiny movement of your camera results in significant movement in your image. Also, using the camera in manual mode with a focusing rail between the tripod and the camera is very helpful to attain precise focus on your target and minimize movement during the shot. For focusing rails, I recommend the two way focusing rail to allow fine lateral positioning as well critical front/back focus within your image. This allows you to determine the exact position of the shallow depth-of-field and then move the camera sideways without disturbing your focus.ANDREW R : This should work with most lenses equipped with a 52mm diameter threaded filter ring.
chelsey h : Is this compatible with the Cannon T3i Rebel??CARROLL C : The lens performed as advertised, unfortunately the photographer was only as good as he had been in the past-nothing to brag about.

IT WORKS

Works just like it should. Used with either 18-55 Nikon @ 50-55 for best results. Any higher focal length results in poor image quality and chromatic aberration. But in the 50-55 range it works great! Good 1:1 on a budget! But would recommend using on a 50mm prime lens for best results
