About Adorama

Reverse Rings are threaded on one side to fit the filter thread of your lens. The other side has a mount like your camera lens.

Screw the adapter into your lens' filter thread, turn the lens around and bayonet it into the camera body. This greatly increases the macro reproduction range capabilities.
Although the lens will fit physically, automatic diaphragm, auto-focusing, and any other functions will not operate.

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
SANDRA P P  In the never-ending pursuit of the perfect macro shot, without spending a fortune on that macro lens, I ended up choosing this reversing ring. I just haven't achieved my goal yet!
Shopper  I'm looking for a reversing ring (for macro) that will work on my Sony a7 camera. The lens I have has a 49mm thread, so that part looks o.k., but I need to know which body mount this ring will work with— 1) the Alpha mount Sonys, OR 2) the E-mount Sonys like the NEX cameras or the new a7, or a7r, or a7s cameras? I do understand that this type of ring doesn't communicate with the lens. Thanks for your help.
JOHN W  I would check metabones offerings as a place to start. As i think you need to go from a threaded 49 mm to FE mount. Make sure you are getting an adapter for a full frame sensor for your Sony A7 otherwise you maybe in APS-C sensor territory before you realize. Be careful. John PS i assume that you are using and expect manual focus and no auto focus functioning PPS Don't know about this reverse ring from adorama, might be worth a try, check their return policy first on such an item.
Kay W  I have a sony DSLR-A100 the lens ring is cracked. The ring has the following number 9000HS. Will this ring work on the lens ?.
FRANK B  This lens ring is to turn a lens around, essentially mounting the lens backward on the camera, to use the lens as a macro lens. I don't think that this is what you want to do.
