Great Product

I love this unit. This purchase was a replacement of a similar unit that I had for many years, which was damaged during Hurricane Sandy. It is easy to read, with large numbers for the temperature and humidity, and has other indicators for weather trends and pressure systems. I only need to change batteries about once a year. I have one for the front of of my house with the inside register in my bedroom, and a second unit in the back yard with an indicator in my kitchen. Both units are very accurate, and are almost always within a very small range of temp with the online weather reports.

About Meade TM005X-M

Personal Weather Station TM005x-M. Reads indoor/outdoor temperature and humidity in up to three locations. Includes a single remote TS33C-M model sensor with 164 foot (50 meter) range. Expandable to monitor up to a total of three outside or remote locations with the addition of up to two more TS33C-M sensors, sold separately. All remote channels auto-scan when connected.

Requires two AA type batteries for the main unit and two AA batteries for the remote sensor. Batteries not included. Suggested operating temperature range is -40F to 122F (-40C to +50C) if using lithium type batteries. Reads humidity as percentage with a range from 20% to 95% and records minimum and maximum temperature and humidity for both indoor and outdoor locations. Wall or desk mountable.
