Perfect Home Office Solution

I do a lot of conference calls, web presentations, and demos all of which I run from my Mac or MacBook Pro. Plugged it in and that was it. It sounds great and is really easy to use. It's a little big on the desk, but then that's to be expected with a mic of this quality.

Great Value for a Modest Price

Have had the Yeti for 2 weeks now and it works like a charm. The set up was quick and easy. Connected the USB cable to my MAC and it was immediately recognized by Garageband. Have used it in Cardioid mode to create voice-overs for a slide show. The sound quality is great compared with previously-owned mics. Highly recommend it. (Ps do pop so it might be advisable to buy an inexpensive Pop Shield.)

This is a solid piece of equipment. It feels sturdy, has fantastic quality and great pickup. It doesn't have every feature, but since it's a live USB mic it doesn't need anything but line out and capsulte modes. I use this for podcasting and sound effects and I can adjust it everywhere from picking up just my voice, all the way to picking up the fan in my case for some whitenoise. It's a lot bigger than I thought it would be, which is going to make it hard to transport if I ever need to do offsite recording, but other than that this mic is great.

Awesome Mic, Sounds Great, Excellent Pri

I'm using this for podcasting and this mic works, and sounds great. It's a big and bulky so keep that in mind. I like that it is heavy though so it stays in place.

Shopper  for writing and not sitting at the pc.---being some where comfortable=== is this better than hand held Dictaphone type voice recording and does this plug to pc to speak and the pc types?: if so what does it take to go voice to mic to speak typing"? what is suggested.
RICHARD J  Don't know if this will answer your question but I use the microphone for recordings, voice, podcast and Dragon natural dictation. It is very good quality especially useful are its selection in mic recording settings. Everything comes through clear and with very good saturation without distortion. No dictation microphone could match its sound quality.
