Questions & Answers

Shopper : is this for small hands? Can I attach the fellowes writ glide to it?YOSEF S : It's too big for small hands, il wold say 20 y.o and above. WILLIAM S : If you have small hands, you might not like this mouse. I've seen complaints that it's a bit large. I have average-size hands and found I had to hold it differently than I do other mice. It's otherwise a terrific mouse.JOHN W : If you're not sure of the size, I would find one at your local store and see how it feels in your hand. I purchased this after a friend had one and I like the feel and features. I would say that is would work fine even for a small hand, its very smooth and moves easily with granular movement. The price is a good deal for this type of quality. Usually this is around a $40 mouse.
Shopper : my usb port to the mouse has broken, can I purchase a replacement instead of purchasing a complete mouse because my mouse works fine?ANDREW R : Unfortunately these are sold as a paired set and cannot replaced as separate items.
Shopper : my usb port to the mouse has broken, can I purchase a replacement instead of purchasing a complete mouse because my mouse works fine?CALVIN B : same thing happened to me and from what i've learned you cant :(. I ended up getting a smaller mouse w/a smaller usb that is harder to break and since then i've been fine.SCOTT M : I too had a similar occurance w/ a Logitech mouse. Logitech claimed that since it was out of warranty they could not help. Don't know but only Microsoft could really address your issue. I doubt they would sell you one cheaper than the entire mouse is priced here. Possibly MS would just send one out of good customer service. Best of luck.

A good cordless mouse at a low price

I bought this mouse for a notebook. Though it's larger than most, the size is outweighed by its comfortable shape and the Bluetrack system's ability to work on just about any surface. It comes with a rechargeable AA NiMH cell and a charger you simply lay the mouse on. (A full recharge is good for a week or two, depending on use. Snapping the USB dongle into the slot on the bottom turns off the power.) It will also work with any AA alkaline cell. Microsoft has stopped using tiny glide pads (more like dots) that eventually fall off. This and other recent mice have large pads unlikely to come loose -- and can be easily reglued if they do. I have a different Bluetrack mouse on my desktop computer. Surprisingly, the mice don't interfere with each other.

Good value for the money.

PROS: Very comfortable mouse. Works on granite and wood grain surfaces, which are the only ones I've tested so far. The battery is a single NiMH AA rechargeable. Plenty of buttons 2 on side, left right and center. Wheel is smooth and tilts. Infrequent recharging required. CONS: It has a dongle, which plugs in to your USB port. The charger plugs in to a 110VAC outlet. The charging base is small and hard to hit. OTHER: The overall design is good for a laptop, or a desktop computer. A charging pad would have been nice, rather than the small dock with 2 metal contact buttons.

MS Explorer Wireless Mouse

This a pretty good mouse. I have been using Logitech MX1000 for 10 years (went thru 4 of them) but are to hard to find anymore. The MS Explorer tracks real well, the charge lasts a long time, is very smooth and is fully programable with older OS's (Win 95, 2000). The only think i dont like is the scrolling of the wheel. It spins too free and is real hard to judge and stop. I have tried all speeds and settings with it. I finally just programmed a thumb button as a 'Middle Button' and use that for scrolling.
